He is sh*t......as a traditional full back. Pochettino started using him as an inverted full back, then Spain started doing it. Maresca can't take credit for that. If anything, he's made Cucurella worse. He scores goals, but it's leaving massive holes when we lose the ball and he often gets in the way of other attackers.
