We aren’t a bad squad, we’re just lacking a striker. Not a chance Jackson can be our #1 or #2 option going into next season. He’s the absolute pits.

With a fit Lavia in the team we could be a different proposition next season

Lavia honestly turns us from a decent side, to a very good side.

Need to keep up the same game plan. Absorb pressure and get it to the wingers in quick transition once the ball is won back. Noni and Neto have been effective.

Jackson's lack of awareness and positioning really does your head in. That backwards pass killing the pace in an attack, being that much offside for no reason and getting a goal chalked off...

I think Maresca will be totally livid at that first half performance. We have been absolutely murdered in the most important metric....possession stats!!

Liverpool are well below their best and the amount of changes has clearly messed with their rhythm, but we haven't really taken advantage of it. We got the early goal and had a positive start and there has been good play in between, but the poor decision making is frustrating. Madueke early on, then Neto soon after, Jackson offside multiple times when he shouldn't be. There should have at least been another goal from that.

A new striker makes us such a better side, we can't honestly think we can compete with Jackson.

Lavia is an an absolute Rolls Royce of a midfielder, if he could only stay fit.

The real difficulty we will have is when we sub off Lavia and they bring on their first choice midfield
