Mainoo, who is slower than Enzo Fernandez, will make us all wish Enzo was still on the pitch.Or, dont believe everything some no mark f**kwit on twitter tells you.

Or a training ground They were playing at the Withdean athletics ground. Before that they played 70 miles away at Gillingham. .Now they are established in the PL, have a new stadium, and a training ground at Shoreham... AND they have Chelsea throwing money at them as an added bonus !! Our owners don't know how lucky they are !!

January 15Jan 15 Going after a centre back now but 6 months too late. Buonatte gotten rid of after a handful of games. The summer transfer window is looking more and more like the 2017/2022 ones. Frustrating as we had momentum and closed the gap to Arsenal but squandered it.
January 15Jan 15 Another f**king centre-back? When we have 1.5 competent forwards and already have Fofana, Colwill, Chalobah, Badiashile, Acheampong, Adarabioyo, plus Disasi, Anselmino and Sarr?Elite squad planning, I'm in awe. I'm not sure there's any single position in the team which needs reinforcements less than centre-back. Edited January 15Jan 15 by PloKoon13

I'm not sure there's any single position in the team which needs reinforcements less than centre-back.I think the key here is whether we can get a center back good enough to be a regular in the team. With Colwill injured, most of the other options aren't good enough. Acheampong looks decent but is rarely played in the center. Fofana can only play 1 game a month. Chalobah is a decent squad player. The rest are either on loan or not good enough.
January 16Jan 16 We could have bought Marc Guehi back for £16m!£16m for a quality Premier League ready defender - and we’re apparently looking for a defender during this window. The craziest irony of the board turning their noses up at Premier League ready players in their mid 20’s is that the board are gonna realise how important financially it is to qualify for the Champions League if we don’t qualify for the next couple of years. Then they’ll wonder why the youngsters we buy from abroad doesn’t translate to the speed or physicality of the EPL.Arsenal and Man City are way ahead of us in terms of quality and ambition and Liverpool will spend big if they feel it’s the right player. That realistically leaves us scrapping with Man Utd, Villa, Newcastle etc for one guaranteed spot per season. It’s crazy that they won’t tweak their recruitment policy to get certain players. And it’s even crazier that haven’t got the foresight to see how this can impact the club for years to come.

It's all noise by the BlueCo PR machine. We are simply going to recall Anselmino or Sarr if things get desperate. The only signing they'll make is some 18 year old they'll send to Strasbourg or will rot at Cobham until he goes to Strasbourg in the summer.

They have probably just asked some of their stooges on social media to publish some links in attempt to make it look like they are trying to sign somebody. They will just wait until the summer to add 1 or 2 of the youngsters out on loan. But in the meantime no doubt they still think that the existing squad will qualify for the Champions League because AI said it was possible.

These players are on ridiculous wages for average players, and are on long guaranteed contracts. It’s gone very quiet with Disasi, and he has stopped turning out for the u21s. Has a contract till 2029 so might as well dig in.Won’t be surprised if Jeremy Jacquet comes in to replace Buonanotte, which will be silly considering the Palmer situation.
January 20Jan 20 West Ham’s biggest win of the season against Joe Shield’s newly revamped Kinetic academy Chelsea U21’s
January 20Jan 20 Brighton's latest 18 year old scored a stunning overhead goal last night against Bournemouth We should put our usual mega offer in for him surely??

January 21Jan 21 The thing that baffles me the most with this policy of putting the faith in the youth and growing players is that Cobham is producing and has the potential to produce better players than we are currently signing?!Jesse Derry is better than Jamie GittensReggie Walsh isn’t/wasn’t worse than Buonanotte Ibrahim Rabbaj, if given sensible minutes and handled correctly could be THE next big thing but we’ll happily sign some unknown South American for 10’s of Millions and that pricetag alone will give them a head start for 1st team minutes.Hell, if none of them work out at least by giving them game time you’re putting them in the shop window for PuRe PrOfIt 🤮It’s just such a weird, flawed and stupid business model.

At least Joe Shields mates have jobs for life now though. Another loss for the U21's the other day, wasn't it?
January 23Jan 23 Not to worry we'll just buy players from City's academy instead of producing our own.
