The maddest thing though might be that this rag tag collection of waifs and strays will probably still beat the team from a great club like Benfica, because even the worst of the PL is stronger than all but about five teams in the whole of Europe.

You've got to hand it to Maresca, his multitasking abilities is top notch.

Last week he nulified 3 attackers in one move and today he's destoying a winger and a striiker in one move.

I've got nothing against George, and hope he does well....but we tried to sell him a few weeks ago and now he's our starting striker in a must win Champions League match 🤣 .

It is also possible that he is trying to manage Reece's minutes to avoid further injuries that have plagued his career. That being said it is unbelievable that Gusto is anywhere near the starting 11 given his awful cameo on Saturday.

If the club is really trying to build a team around Enzo I don't see that lasting long. Apart from his obvious struggles in the physical Premier League, I feel like Enzo F. will push for a move to one of the Spanish clubs sooner rather than later. Supposedly Real have some interest.

Why doesnt the interviewer ask Maresca “can you explain to all the fans WHAT IS IT THAT GUSTO HAS ON YOU?, no matter how many mistakes he makes you keep picking him”
