We do only ever play for 45 minutes so hopefully second half will be better.

This is such a typical Maresca performance. Any other decent club in this league scoring with their first attack would have smelt blood and really gone after Sunderland. Not us though. Move the ball so slowly, no movement , no enterprise. His tactics have single handedly killed the atmosphere of another game.

He isn’t the only one who can do that? Obviously. You’re acting as if the biggest flop so far for Chelsea (not today because Pedro Neto gifted him an assist to prevent 007) is capable of taking people on.

Not sure what we expect when both full-backs are told to converge into the middle of the pitch and the wingers have to get past at least two defenders to get anywhere near the penalty area.

Second half should be a stroll given we have held Sunderland to a draw playing with 9 men. Once we bring subs on to play where Pedro and Enzo are meandering we will be up to a full complement.

Bar Acheampong, can’t say anyone played well.
