January 4Jan 4 After todays result there is no need to rush or be hasty. We can do much better than this inexperienced fella. He still has work to do at Strasbourg, impressive in Conference league but the league form has dropped off badly and he has a decent squad at his disposal.Every other top Premier League team will love this appointment. They will laugh their cocks off. Edited January 4Jan 4 by OTL
January 4Jan 4 Don't know much about him or haven't watched much of Strasbourg but have heard good things. However I don't think he is what we need at the moment. I was hoping the owners/directors would have seen what's going on and have a bit of a change of plan. We need a genuine top manager. We need someone to take control. But I honestly don't think we can attract that at the moment and there lies the problem. We will be stuck in this young players - young managers loop for sometime and it's hard to see that it will change without owners/directors admitting their youth only policy isn't sustainable.
January 4Jan 4 As long as he fits tactically and doesn't have Gusto inverting again I'm not really fussed about him not being a big name manager.

January 4Jan 4 Looks like it’s happening. Time to start getting behind Rosenior despite my protests. You never know he could be a genius. Hopefully
January 4Jan 4 It’s gonna take a huge upturn in results for the fans to get on board with this, the fans currently see him for what he is, a puppet.
January 4Jan 4 Author He likes to play with a back 3 and, from what I have read/heard, wingbacks play as wing backs. So, if that is accurate, and with the instruction Enzo must play and his liking of Andrey Santos from their time together at Strasbourg, how would our first 11 look?I'd guess something like this:SanchezJames (Fofana)Chalobah (Acheampong)Badiashile (Hato)Gusto (Neto)Caicedo (Essugo ha ha)Santos (Lavia hahahahahaha)Cucurella (Garnacho)Palmer (Estevao)Enzo (Gittens....heh)Joao Pedro (Delap)

He is inexperienced and that coupled with team form / performance, he in a different situation, might be fearing for his job at Strasbourg soon, certainly at the end of the season. Blue Co. are blowing their own trumpet saying how promising he is, its laughable. why havent any other clubs come in for this young messiah?also being at the top of a shortlist of one is not terribly impressive.but as you say lets wait and see, the indicators dont look great though.

Outside of the first 11 there really isn't much to work with is there? Garnacho as a wingback doesn't fill me with excitement. The injury hit backup midfield is just comical at this point. Outside of James, Acheampong and Fofana the defence looks bare (Chalobah is a decent option and Fofana definitely can't be relied on for too many games). And the strikers. I'm not sure they'll hit 15 goals between them.

Would be a nice change to see the back of neto and garnacho.

They don't want a top manager, they want a coach that follow orders. Maresca was the same thing, as was Pochettino. The moment they stop saying yes, they quit.

January 4Jan 4 I really don't know anything about him. But I have known probably a dozen or so Liams over the years and on the whole, they have been a grand bunch of lads. Just looked this up;Meaning: The meaning of Liam is often translated as helmet of will, guardian, or determined protector. This bodes well. Right now our club could definately do with a determined guardian ptotector who has a helmet of will. Unlike Maresca, who was just a helmet. On this basis I am prepared to give my full support to Liam.

January 4Jan 4 I'm really not happy with the appointment, feels like the embodiment of everything that's wrong with the ownership, but that doesn't mean I won't get behind him and the team, it isn't their fault. As I've said before, Rosenior will be fully aware that he shouldn't be anywhere near this job this early in his career, but you can't blame him for taking it.Best of luck to the lad, he's gonna need it.
January 4Jan 4 Every analysis video I’ve seen says he likes to invert his RB so Gusto at CAM lives on.
January 4Jan 4 Pretty kind run of league fixtures for him to hit the ground running. Fulham a Brentford hPalace aWest ham hWolves aLeeds hBurnley h5 wins from those 7, and i think it will put us in a very decent position. Rosenior wouldnt be anywhere near this job if it was up to me, but got to support him and hope for the best as usual. Back 3 looked decent 2nd half today, not sure whether we get a signing or two in january, could maybe do with Moreira as a left wing back. Or maybe he sticks with the back 4, just font want to see square pegs in round holes.
