Didn’t like the change's, shape wasn’t right after nor the game control against 10 men

Agreed but if he must tinker and experiment then doing it while being 3-0 up is the perfect time to do it.

Early days but some reasons for optimism. At least he is willing to start both Santos and Estevao. Tougher challenges await....

Honeymoon ends in Feb. This run of games will give even the best managers sleepless nights

That's why I said he must get us maximum points up until March. Anything less and I don't think we will qualify for the Champions League, not with that run of fixtures.

We said the same exact thing last season coming into those last final games, and we had the hardest schedule compared to our rivals for Top 5. Maresca kept it simple and the squad found a way.

We should know by now the likes of Villa and Newcastle are capable of dropping silly points come the latter stages of the season. United just replaces Forest for me, and they are a team we should be finishing above.

Liverpool winning the league and going on holiday and Forest capitulating certainly saved us last season.

This fear that our rivals will have these perfect runs never comes to fruition. They’ll all drop points, it’s about who can actually crawl over the finish line.

At least he realised he f**ked up at the start and changed to a more suitable system against the 3 at the back. No idea what we were trying to do before that

Rosenior won 5 games out of 6 so far, I’m happy with that.

Can you see us getting that under Maresca? Absolutely no chance. We aren’t playing teams off the park at the moment but we are getting results and I’ll take that.

Despite whatever injuries they had, winning tonight was massive for the manager.

I was, and still am, skeptical of his appointment. Early impressions I also wonder if the tactical depth is there, and whether he has enough of his own ideas to progress this team.

That said, I can only applaud the results so far. And generally speaking, I also like the simplicity and pragmatism he has brought to performances - it does highlight there is quality in the squad, and how rigid Maresca was.

Tougher games await, but nice start Liam!

I have just watched the 1st half and that was insane. In 343, ccb is usually the "easiest" position to play because you are protected by two CB by your side and two dm in front of you. Let your teammate engage and you just sweep.

Rosenior basically asked Fofana to play all CB. 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Still early days and last night I was worried after the first half that his inexperience was showing as it appeared he was getting schooled by Conte.

But he made the right changes second half and he got the result, although we rode our luck a little.

So early signs that he WILL do a better job than Maresca and I'm happier with LR making the decisions than I was with Maresca, who let's face it, kept getting a lot of things wrong and didn't seem to learn from those mistakes.

I just don't want to hear LR come out with the same line though when he#s interviewed - the one about "working with an incredible group of players". That probably only applies to a handful of them - last night underlined that we have quite a few who are nowhere near incredible!

He has done OK so far. Talks a bit too much from what I have seen. I suspect all Liams are probably the same in that regard.

Oh no, defender has to defend

Got the lineup/approach horrifically wrong to start the game but had the humility/common sense to change it up and that’s why we won.

The Bald c**t would’ve stuck by his initial lineup because the ‘system is the system’. Good on Liam to see something not working and adapt accordingly.

It irritated the hell out of me in the first half but he accepted he made a massive gaffe and fixed it.

£land Pep would have stuck by it all the way through and lost.

There is no way we come back last night with £land Pep.
