Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Featured Replies

We went in March thinking it would determine how our season went. Pretty clear now and most likely will lead to Rosenior being shown the door in the summer. Well done to our SD's and owners.

Beginning to unravel quite quickly for him. Was highly doubtful he was an upgrade on Maresca and that’s looking to be the case.

Uphill battle to get champions league football now. Maybe we will get an Fa cup but I’m not too confident.

Just now, Scott Harris said:

Anybody that believe this guy was going to make a difference is delusional. Nobody is saving this, the only way forward is Clear Lake and BlueCo out.

Was always an uphill battle with the timing of his appointment, inexperience isn’t going to help that. Wrong man, wrong time, wrong SDs, wrong transfer, wrong philosophy, wrong strategy, wrong owners - everythings wrong. Oh well, at least we’re not Tottenham, although we’re getting dangerously close!

I want to say a third, or even half of the goals we’ve conceded under his management so far have been down to our CBs being overtly aggressive in their press.

Following attackers out wide or into midfield, completely out of position.

This was an issue under Maresca too just not as bad.

Let's not allow Rosenior being out of his depth to reinvent history and pretend Maresca wasn't clueless at this level of football. They are both lower league managers put into a post by owners with no knowledge of football.

Can’t stand when people do this.

It appears to be an open secret that he’s going Man City at the end of the season so they don’t seem to agree.

Due to infighting with his superiors his position was untenable but tactically he was pretty solid.

Both shouldn't have been hired period. We used to only employ league winners as managers.

🚨 ⚠️ Chelsea lose at home to Newcastle for the first time in 14 years.

🚨 ⚠️ Chelsea’s first defeat at home in the premier league in March in 25 years.

🚨 ⚠️ Chelsea have kept 1 clean sheet in their last 14 games.

Our SDs and owners are the biggest joke in the sporting world.

Last time we lost to Newcastle at home we went on to win the Champs League and FA Cup under Di Matteo. Unfortunately, this time around that scenario looks like a pipe dream.

Thats it, there is no way we are progressing with this inexperienced bloke in charge. Hes so far out of his depth. He hasnt lost the dressing room he never had it. He doesnt know who are his best players, nor does he know what position to play them in. He doesnt have a settled defence. He is not able to coach a consistent performance out of them.

Hes not the only problem but sacking should start with manager. Get him gone, he offers nothing, absolutely nothing. Sticking with this bloke will only make things worse. Do Blue Co and the SDs think it will suddenly all come together?

It was risky at best to install him, insane at worst. Who will come in for him when hes sacked? Real Madrid or Barnsley. ?

Blueco and the SD's do not want a manager as they do not think the role is important. The decisions are made by them. Maresca and Poch both left because they challenged the authority of the SD's and owners. We desperately need a proven manager with this young group of players, and the board/SD's need to leave them alone to make the decisions on the team. I cannot see that happening though, as it would require the owners to acknowledge their own errors.

BlueCo legitimately came out and said there is no relationship between a manager and results.

Sacking Rosenior will be pulling a rotten apple off a bad tree. Been saying this for ages now it seems.

agree,

sadly there is a tendency with this lot to say "why should we sack him?"

what they should be thinking is "why should we keep him on? " I for one cant think of a single reason.
