He's an inept coach, it may be a while before he finds a new club, probably in a lower league with lower wages. All in all I don't envy him. Practically bullied into accepting the Chelsea offer, only to show himself completely inadequate for the eyes of the footballing community. Try to recover from that. And please don't splutter about his high wages, even people on high wages have feelings.Yes, I have moments of empathy and mildness, sue me.Yeah, at some point you see them struggle with it and its not a comfortable watch. He’s a joke to the footballing world now and on some level he knows it. Even if my belief in the club to get a good manager next is close to zero, I hope he is sacked as quickly as possible - for everyones sake

Then probably they will send him on his way with a payout.

April 19Apr 19 The next two games are going to be painful - Brighton and Leeds in the cup. We will be completely mauled by both of them. I have zero faith that we will get anything from the two games. Plus, do we really want to play City in the final? It will just be embarrassing

Just stick with him until they sell up.

Don't do it, Cesc! But keeping Rosenior in a "better the devil you know".... can't we at least find a yes man (or yes person) who is a bit tactically astute? Edited April 20Apr 20 by Valerie

Let Cesc come in, give him full control on team matters plus the few players he needs and let's avoid being next season's Spurs.

We are never going to have a manager until BlueCo is in charge... only a first team coach. So long as the SDs have all the power in the club that ideally a manager should have, we are not going to be seeing much success on the field in the near future either. At this point, Chelsea is being run like a club on football manager.
April 20Apr 20 I'd back Fabregas, but another inexperienced manager isn't what we need, he's someone the board would hire to appease the fanbase. Emery or Simeone would be my top choices.

Richer than all the supposed big guns. Why on earth would he walk away from that? Besides, he remains, relatively speaking, a novice.

April 20Apr 20 If they're going to change and go for more experienced players, just go for Alonso. Worked wonders at Leverkusen. Probably not enough of a yes-man though.

The last manager to have that sort of role was Arsene Wenger and he tragically developed an allergy to success after Wayne Bridge's goal at Highbury in 2004.The issue is more that our SDs aren't very good. They had no credentials to speak of when they were hired. We then sacked the one (Christopher Vivell) who had some credentials.

Eddie, through circumstances, and he has tripped up. Emery because it's his way or the highway. And Winstanley's reputation was based entirely on Bloom's recruiting system.
