As soon as Enzo got the red thought Spain would win, though Simeone did have the chance he blasted over.

Simeone is a woeful player, couldn’t believe my ears when the commentary team were praising him for just ‘running’. Aside from Nico Paz, you have to wonder about the future of Argentina, as they’re really lacking in top quality youth.

U20 side lost to Morocco in WC final tbf. Still a good group coming through.

They’re definitely going to be in a weird limbo the few years without Messi.

Oh yeah, really looks like they want him to stay. Rodri ushering him along and even his lackey Infantino trying to get him away.

Edit: yes he is: https://tribune.com.pk/story/2526904/mastermind-behind-right-wing-twitter-account-inevitable-west-exposed-as-indian-crypto-scammer

Been shown that in addition to them shoving over players at full time and grabbing throats, Agentina deliberately turned their backs on Spain as they lifted the trophy. They really are brats.

So no fault of Tuchel then, who said he knew the problem, knew how to fix it unlike other coaches?

I've always said that since 1966 fans always claimed that our brilliant England team were world beater's but were let down by incompetent managers.

But THIS time it's as clear as day that Tuchel f**ked us up. AND you could tell afterwards that he's not really that bothered either.

I'm so glad Spain won if only to put and end to the daft conspiracy theory that FIFA and officials were going provide Argentina and Messi with a World Cup come what may.

Apart from that, I'm glad that a team playing good football won the trophy .

Just looked at the presentation, did not see Enzo yet did see Trump trying to crowd into the team picture with Infantino trying to pull him away.

Trump was trying to get amongst the team for the trophy lift, Infantino prancing around trying to move him away.!

did you watch the tournament and the refereee decisions?

Argentina were basically just a better Paraguay. Horrible bastards.

As much as I wanted Spain to win that final though, I really hate that we are in another era of Spanish dominance. It wins tournaments, so that is all they will care about, but I think their football is one of the main reasons why Football isn't as fun as it used to be. Passing teams to death just isn't my brand of football.

I know what you mean. Unfortunately, teams think that passing around with no risk and just keeping the ball is what Spain do. I agree it's ruining the game and I hate it, hard to say, but Klopp got Liverpool playing a totally different way, high energy, attacking football that I think all football fans would love to watch.

And Arsenal have found an even more anti-football way to success. I just hope at least we won't have to watch the worst of Maresca ball anymore now we have Xabi in charge..

Can't wait for the season to start...

Come on you BLUES!!

Yes mate. So with Argentina in the final, why did FIFA suddenly abandon the conspiracy?

They did their best not to... Not sure why Paredes was sent off after the full time whistle when he should have gone inside 10 mins of getting on the pitch...
the stink around Argentina is foul. Which of the three bank accounts is yours! ;-)

Besides some horrendous referee decisions, Ive kind of enjoyed this World Cup... I enjoyed the lesser nations holding the bigger ones to account. I have a soft spot for dutch football fans who seem to be more long-suffering than us across the channel... And I always prefer it when england go out in the earlier stages...

Back to the league now.. Im hoping Alonso is the second coming of the Special One and can perform miracles.
