Hopefully when all the players return we’ll start to see what the starting 11 actually looks like and the deadwood out the door, these games don’t mean squat only improving fitness levels and some tactical work.

Size of the squad isn’t helping the manager. Apparently we have 46 players out there. You would think they would send 12-15 back to Cobham after this game.

Personally, I am glad none of these lot are failing to deceive like last summer's preseason. They simply aren't good enough and are showing Alonso in real time why they don't belong here.

I will say, though, bearing in mind I have no idea how many preseason matches we have left, that Alonso needs to actually start playing an XI of players that will indefinitely be here.

Not fussed about the result but it is concerning that we barely forced their keeper into a save. Hopefully that's the last time we see Jackson in a Chelsea shirt.

Pre Season, dont really pay too much attention, literally about getting minutes under belt and fitness, only really take note of injuries. Form, goals, mean very little IMO as its all about the conditioning. Perhaps he wont be here come the start of the season, If Blue co can sell the deadwood, we will be very lucky, something of a miracle between now and end of window is needed. .

If it's all about conditioning we shouldn't have to travel half way across the world to do it .. But the reason we do that is undoubtedly for the money .

I think we will start to see an exodus of sales and a few loans in the next couple of weeks together with the youngsters returning to Cobham and never to be seen again. Really need to get shot of Delap, Jackson, Jorgensen, Disasi, Tosin, Gusto, Guiu for starters and possibly Enzo, Neto, Forfana, loans for Hato, Josh, Sarr, Anselmino, Satpayev. Even with my suggested outgoings by the time everyone is back the squad will still be bloated for a team playing one game a week.

Not sure how much value, on the pitch wise, there was for us today if the pitch was as bad as many have said

The worst part about that match was that I saw next to nothing when it comes to Alonso putting his ideas across to the team.
