Our Youth on Loan

To me it seems that Brown hasn´t nailed down a position which will probably hurt him.  I just don´t see him as a winger.

Well considering the league hasn't even started yet it's a bit early to make that assumption.

Domonic Solanke joins Vitesse. He did bang in 40 odd goals last season, so is in need of a step up, hopefully gets some minutes in the dutch league as i doubt they'll be making the Europa league after getting thrashed by Southampton.

Kane signed a new contract, not sure why, and looks like he's off to Holland on loan.

Kane has gone to NEC Nijmegen on loan. Quite controversial, since Vitesse and NEC are archrivals...

He'll probably be the first striker for them. They have three strikers: Solanke, Dauda and Djurdjevic. Dauda is a bit similar to Bony, but Dauda is worse and older. Djurdjevic isn't a starter. Last season he was subbed on 16 times and started once. So I think Solanke has a good chance of banging about 15 goals in next season. But it's a shame Vitesse lost their two best midfielders: Vejinovic and Pröpper. Vejinovic had 8 assists last season (he's now at Feyenoord) and Pröpper was just great that he even got called up for our national team.

Will Hughes has gotten himself injured. Rumor has it Derby will be looking to us for a replacement. Ake, Chalo, Musonda are likely choices. Piazon got mentioned as well. WAGNH has the story. Reading are linked with Chalo again. Based off the fact that both mangers are ex Chelsea.

I would love to see all of them get some time in the championship except. Maybe Ake less so.

Brown is a very moderate player. It won't take long before he must go to the bench. Also Baker must make more progression. In Arnhem a lot of people are amazed of the lack of quality by the Chelsea youth.

Atsu, Piazon and Traore seemed to do just fine for them.

They aren't being realistic if they think every youth player we send to them is going to be a world beater. It's a new league/new country and all, I'm sure our boys will prove their worth.

I actually think baker will come from this loan in the best shape. I can see him snatching a few headlines with the types of goals he scores. Hopefully he learns how to effect a game at senior level, which is something mceachran really struggled with.

If any of the loanees at vitesse do better than van ginkel did in his last season there, do anyone think they will be given a place in the squad next year?

No.

I'm really liking the loans we have done so far in particular Pasalic, Christensen and Van Ginkel with all of them looking like they are going to be very beneficial as they are seem set for a good amount of game time in a good league, also Ake and Bamford will have a chance to gain premier league by fighting there way into the team which should give a decent progression in the players.
I also like that we have got a lot of the younger loanees playing together at Vitesse which is a step up from the U21 and should hopefully prevent the troubles of loans abroad for youngsters.

I do have concerns with Kalas to Middlesborough as I think he should be playing at a higher level at his age, I know he didn't make it work at Koln so it might of been hard to find a better club interested and it keeps good links with Middlesborough and he should get a good amount of game time.

Hopefully we can keep the quality of our loaning this high as I'm sure there will be a few more loans organised in the next few weeks, but it seems a lot better than last years loaning so far.

Bamford should be recalled and sent somewhere they will actually play him. No more of these wasted loan spells where our players hardly get a game.

yeah i'm fed up of seeing him on loan, either played out of position or on the bench. i know it's a long season and he'll get chances but it's frustrating not to be able to follow him for more than 5 min cameo appearances from the bench.
