Baker scores again for Vitesse

Lovely finish to equalise late on. Really think he is good enough to make it personally. He seems to have so many weapons to hurt teams with, and with a top coach and a bit if guidance, he could develop the mental aspects to reach the very top. In terms of ability, id only put musonda ahead of him out our young prospects.

Good luck to Kasey Palmer who has been loaned to Huddersfield Town.

Kasey Palmer has established himself as a regular at Huddersfield Town.

Excellent player making a great contribution and very popular with the fans

Very composed on the ball looks comfortable at Championship level.

With all these young players remember only a couple are seriously being looked at. What amazes me is why they are not taught passion and what Chelsea Football club is all about. This season the crop of kids are not as good as the previous years, so chances of any breaking into the first team are little if not zero.

I also blame this on the coaching, though to be fair Jody Morris is ideal. A Frnk Lampard or Zola would also be good to be in charge of the kids over all.

Then we can play like the first team, not like how we were playing under Jose. Long and short of it we need a real Chelsea legend with passion, who can teach the kids, strengthen them teach them to play quicker, just like the first team...........At present we do not have this.

Mario Pasalic took the decisive penalty in the Supercoppa shoot-out against Juventus. “It was the most important kick of my career.”

The game ended 1-1 in Doha and went to spot-kicks, so after Gianluca Lapadula and Paulo Dybala efforts were saved with Mario Mandzukic hitting the bar, Pasalic converted the final penalty.

“I tried to stay relaxed and calm, because I knew it was the penalty for the trophy,” the midfielder on loan from Chelsea told Mediaset Premium.

“I am 21 years old, I felt all the responsibility on my back, it was the most important kick of my career, there were big emotions and I am very happy.

“It felt unbelievable, all the emotions came, I remembered when I was a child I dreamed of something like this, so I’m very happy.

“I dedicate it to my family, my friends and all those who helped me in my career.”

Pasalic is only on loan from Chelsea, so does this make any difference to his future?

“We will see at the end of the season.”

Pasalic is a decent player, but lets be honest he won't make it here at Chelsea, I'd be happy to see him go. We have far too many loanees and really need to cut down on them and just loan out the ones who have a future with us

Would you have said the same about Moses a year ago?

I'm certainly not saying he's nailed on to even make it into the squad but if he's good enough for the second biggest club in Italy it's not inconceivable that he could develop into a player here.

That said, his agent seems to be drumming noise for a permanent switch today so hopefully we bleed Milan's new owners dry with a fat fee and juicy sell-on and performance clauses.

Thats been the whole point of the loan army since they beginning. Buy low sell high. We bought him for cheap and now we're in position to make a tidy profit on a player who will likely not be good enough to get in our first team.

Another solid performance by Kasey in Huddersfields 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.

Scored one and generally passed forest to death, ran the midfield...nice

Very true, however in Pasalic we are talking about a player who we already have a lot of players already in that position. I mean i dont know about you, but id much rather give Chalobah and RLC a go over Pasalic, whereas the position Moses is playing right now there is not really anyone as suited as he is. I mean there is no chance Moses would have even a 1/10th the game time he's had this season if we were going to use him as a RW which is where most of us thought he'd end up

Spot on.Charley is the best we have and he runs at people, needs time with a conditioning coach which i cant believe Chelse have not sorted........please bring John or Frank to run the kids, the development manager (in my view) is not up to it.

Alright everyone I'm a Doncaster Rovers fan and I just thought it would be worth putting in here that your lad Jordan Houghton has been sensational for us this season.

Lets be honest he's never going to make it with you but I think he'll go on to be a top championship midfielder so I'm very glad we've extended his loan, but yeah he's been brilliant and a key player for us so far

Glad to hear hes doing well! Though it is a shame that even at his age he's already sort of been written off and will never make our team, but as long as he's successful elsewhere its all good i suppose

It's a shame but it's hard to not write off youngsters like Jordan when there are players out on loan in top divisions who will also never make it

He's been a credit to you though and rejected a few league one clubs to stay with us so I wouldn't be surprised if we signed him on loan again next year in league one
