Popular vote is probably going to go with Hazard again but I have opted for Mikel. Just to keep Liam company.

I voted for Mikel as well...hazard saved energy in the second half and barely got a touch (don;t blame him)...mikel has definitely got sharper since the community shield when he was off the pace and offered good protection to the back four...showed a lot of strength on the ball too

Went for Mikel, everyone was good today and Mikel took care of covering well. Anyone of the 11 starters could have got it really.

Was tough to call between Hazard, Mikel, & Torres but i've went with the latter, looking back towards his oldself which is great news for us!

went for torres since i thought he led the line in an extraordinary way, running on every ball, winning almost every header, taking on people and the two match winning moments. looked as though his acceleration was back.

i would also like to mention, like i did in the chat room, that i think it's no coincidence that we play better with a more dynamic partner alongside mikel. if lampard is out of shape or simply out of legs i'm not sure, but meireles did the job excellent today (alongside mikel).

Hazard just pipped Torres for me.

Mikel was much better, but i'm unconvinced it will last and he was not as good as some seem to believe. Lets see what happens when we play top 4 opposition, hopefully I'm proven wrong and the clubs years of faith are returned, but for me he should be no2 and we should have some class in that position, as there will be times he becomes a bumpstop in defence and fails to give us quick ball forward when needed at times this season if he is to continue starting. Its a big worry for me.

Mikel was excellent all game, Hazard faded.

Hazard for me, he gives the team something they've long been missing and helps others look good by being a constant distraction to the opposition, very good game for Mikel and Bertrand looks very assured already.

Was torn between Mikel and Hazard but went for Hazard both were fantastic.

Mikel. His passing game was very impressive.

Ya I was definitely happy with Bertrand as well, he keeps looking more and more like a keeper.

Far too many votes for Torres - now bear with me (before the fanboys start) - he was decent and the goal was superb.

But the men of the match were Mikel and Merieles. I didn't think the latter was capable of playing like he did in the first half , but he was great and totally ran the midfield - best he has ever played for us. Fair play to them both as I've slaughtered them both constantly.
