So your team selection policy is based around how much each play is earning? Terrible.

i really dont have the time to explain the basic principles of economics to some twat on a football forum. ill ask you politely not to respond to my posts ever again

Well it is not up to him is it? However that is the way things go in football clubs. They are businesses. The board at Chelsea probably demands a number of games to a high paid player like Torres. "He is our most expensive player why are you not playing him?!?" "He is not performing on high enough level so I can't play him" "Well okay then we'll find somebody who will".

It is not a huge stretch of imagination that Robbie got sacked because of that, anyway that probably helped it anyway. But we've been through this already.

I've noticed that your posts have gotten more and more aggressive over the past month or two, think you need to chill out a little mate.

but seriously his post is clearly a wind up. basically putting words in my mouth

his wage must be more than 200k, we cant have a player with that kind of wage as a sub

Money is not an issue we have an owner who gets off on spending huge ammounts of cash on whatever he feels to spend it on, so why would it be an issue for you?

because i care about the FFP and i think that money can be spent more wisely

We have Malouda earning more than 90,000 a week and not even in any of our squads and guys like Yossi on the best part of 70,000 if Sky Sports were to be believed.

Essien is also on stupid money and has not been playing although madrid at least will be paying a bit of that but it's a problem we have had since Roman came in that average squad players are on money that they just should never be on.

Why do you care about FFP? Do you completely understand it? Do you not think that Chelsea have people employeed by the club to worry about this kind of thing?

Also Madrid and Barca both owe a sh*t load of money, do you think UEFA are going to kick their bum boys Barca out of the CL? Not a chance in hell!

Those worried about FFP, really you shouldnt. The club know exactly what they can spend and what they cant. Let them worry about the money, you just sit back and enjoy the football.

Malouda and Benayoun's contracts both expire at the end of this season, IIRC?

Essien, I agree with.

Torres is also (unsurprisingly) on silly wages.

I wouldnt be shocked to see Malouda at Gala. Drogs is there and they are close friends we are to believe. Also Gala will pay him quite good wages.

He's on £170k iirc but yeah your point still stands and is correct.

If we sign a striker I just can't see him staying for numerous reasons.

So your basically saying get someone better, well known but cheaper, easy said than done, who do you suggest?

no, i suggest offloading torres

if he cant be offloaded then give lukaku the starting role

Iain McGarry (soz if mis-spelled) was on the Monday Night Club on Radio 5, last night. He's a sound football journalist, imo. He said JM is coming to CFC and one of his conditions for coming is that Torres be sold.

Whatever Ian McGarry says its the opposite I've learnt after following him on twitter for some time haha

I'll have to follow him. I've not really got to grips with Twitter - a bit too modern and fandangled...

He and The Sun do call a lot of football stories right.

Not always true to be honest. He's had a fair few correct.

The Hazard one springs to mind, he said it long, long before anyone else did, even a tabloid!

Seems as if Atleti will be happy saying bye bye falcao and with Simeone talking about Torres earlier this year expect to see some movement on this surely!

Although Falcao is 27 and in his prime you have to worry that this one will be big money and go the same way as Nando.

That swap deal would just make so much sense. They have already given him the ok to leave. They need a replacement. Who better than their own golden-boy + a handsom lump of money.
