Chelsea v FC Nordsjaelland (CL) 05/12/2012 KO 19:45 GMT

I'm going to the game myself and definitely a game we should win. Hoping that the 3-1 defeat to West Ham today has been a massive slap in the face to all of the players. A good opportunity to step up our game!

Line-up prediction:

----------Cech

Azpi-Ivanovic-Cahill-Cole (Depends whether Terry is fit)

----Ramires-Mikel

Hazard-Mata-Oscar

---------Torres

Think we'll put our strongest team out because it is an absolute must win. Just have to pray that Shakhtar beat Juventus.

OK..Ill be the first with that old cherry..........This match bothers me..................Nah not really . Just joshing.......4 0 in this one although the game to worry about is shaktar n juve.....A draw one feels

We should be able to win, I'd like to see him rest a few players/change things up a bit too.

Team i'd like to see:

----------Cech----------

Azpi - Luiz - Cahil - Bertrand

----Romeu --- Ramires----

- Marin - Oscar - Moses -

---------Torres---------

We've used the fewest players out of any team in the top flight, it's absurd to keep fielding a full strength squad for every single game. Also Marin has looked promising when he's come on as a sub, i'd like to see how he does from the start.

Being knocked out at the group stage wouldn't be the worst thing. Man United did last year, and they're usually very good in Europe. Sometimes it happens. I would just be a little embarrassed as we would be the first title holders to exit at the group stage. Not qualifying for next years CL would be worse.

I'm usually wrong about these things but I'm sensing a massive upset not here... but at the Donbass Arena...

Shaktar 2 - Juventus 1

Chelsea 3 - Nordsjaelland 1

If there was ever a time to pray to whichever god you follow this is it, this could be the night which decides the path of the season.

Seeing as I can't get both Juventus and Chelsea in the next round, I have to wish for a Juventus victory (or draw) but an amazing performance by Chelsea, breaking some kind of goal record, making Torres find his spark and the team hit the right gear again. Even if it does mean Rafa will get some credit.

Why not wish for Chelsea to go through instead of Juventus?

I usually don't go on singling out just one person for dire results but as Rafa is the manager I put all out on him. Players play as the manager manages. At least he is the one getting all the heat. Lets just push him even tighter in that small corner where he is at the moment and see how he performs under pressure. Sounds horrible but as said I don't like him and I don't want him. He is well paid so he can wipe his tears in those pounds.

I'm guessing 1-0 is the result and he will feel like a champion after that.

I hope we win and Juve lose(well thats a given) That could be the turning point to the awful period in the clubs history. We could scrape an awful looking win and feel like champions after it if the other result favour us. That is the psychological edge Rafa needs to get into the players' minds.

I think Marin will start this game, FSW being talking him up a bit (& along with Azpi, one of the few shining lights).

Moos there really are times when discretion is the better part of valour!

If Juventus win and we are certain to go out I would prefer we lose, just to put more pressure on Rafa.

However if we have any chance of going through hopefully we take advantage, a comfortable win shouldn't be too much to ask against this lot.

To be honest going out of the Champions League this year might not necessarily have a bad impact on the club, even though I do not want it to happen. Would be a massive wake up call to the people up in the stands by the boxes.

We should win, I stress should, but I don't think it will matter. I think Juve will get what they need in their game.

It is still a business and that competition is the biggest paying thing of them all. Going through to the playoffs is something like £10-20mill extra for the club.

I know but at least if we go out they will do something about it. I'd rather go out of the CL this season and make sure we guarantee CL football for next season.

I was looking forward to this game a few weeks ago, it'll probably be the only one i get to go to this season...but with everything that's happened since then, i wish i wasn't going.

I'll be there as well. Atmosphere will probably significantly improve if we qualify though.

I'm not predicting a win, what right do we have predicting a win with the form we are in ?

I will just hope for the best and see what happens. What team do i think we will put out ? probably a team with Torres playing as the lone striker and failing miserably as usual.

wouldn't be surprised in the teams current woeful form aided by the FSW and his crack coaching team that there's an upset

want Chelsea to progress but if Shaktur dont beat Juve its a waste of time game anyway and its Thurs night footy regardless, then a favor from MO'N next weekend

and we might be rid of FSW

expect any spark of form to be rotated out by the FSW and the Danes will give Chelsea a right good go

Just win this damn match, end of story. It would be ludicrious if Shakata does us a favour, and we get a bore draw against FC Nord.I expect Hazard to be benched this season, may as well throw Marin on for a start and see what he could do.
