Would you rather Chelsea come 3rd/4th and win nothing or win the Capital One Cup, FA Cup, Europa League and finish 5th?

 

4th. No champions league means player exodus and no way of bringing in a good manager or any good signings.

Finish 3/4. Because at least then, we won't have won any competitions and Benitez will most likely get the boot, which will open the way to Jose! *fingers crossed* 

Ha ha, just pissed myself laughing at the thought that there might be a choice.  If we finish in the top four, or win a trophey it will be a bloody miracle.

Questions like this suggest we're becoming as arrogant as scoucers and y*ds.  There is never a choice, if you work hard, play well and have a bit of luck you might get some success on the pitch.

Said in the match thread that to me it looks like the Interim is targetting a CV boost and a trophy rather than a sweetener for the next Manager like th CL place.

 

Abramovic needs to act now and get someone in with the future of the team at Heart.

He asked what you would rather, it's hypothetical, so it would be top 4 without a doubt

I'd rather take the trophies, 3 final's wins would create some wonderful memories and add to our already fantastic trophy cabinet.

 

I don't think finishing 5th would cause anyone to leave or discourage anyone from coming, everyone knows soon as we get a proper manager we're top 3 at the very least.

Trophies are always nice to get, but nowadays money is important and with the FFP I doubt Roman can just open up his wallet every time we want a new player in the future, so we need all the money we can get. And the money is in CL.

So my list of prefered goals would be:

 

1. Top four

2. EL

3. FA

4. CC

Top 4, this season is a write off I want to at least be in the CL next season so we can get things back on track.

The idea of us winning anything with this clown in charge is fantasy. Top 4 is the best we can hope for. At least that would be something salvaged from such a disaster of a season and his replacement has something to build on.

Getting bored with the knockers.......Whatever we win, and we will win something, is good for me THIS SEASON

I hate saying this because winning trophies is what football is all about, but i would have to take top 4 this season, IF I HAD TO MAKE A CHOICE THAT IS.

 

I would love the Top 4 and Europa League though.

Has to be top 4 , anything else would be a bonus.

We need top 4 to challenge an additional cup would be nice

Would have taken 4th place or better or day long. Although finishing 4th and him gone would be like winning the lottery at this stage to me.

Top 4. Falcao won't be coming anywhere near us unless we're in the CL next season

We need to lock down the 3rd spot, simple as that. I don't think we get a chance to trade 4th spot with FA cup etc. I knew we only beat Arsenal, but we are in prime position to lock down the 3rd spot, especially if we can beat Spurs at home.

we have a squad which anyone can do well with. fatty is not going to mess up his chances.

are currently only 3rd by the good grace that Spuds, Gooners & Everton are seemingly just as inconsistent as Chelsea are 

 

with the squad that Chelsea has (Torres aside) 1st or 2nd in the prem & a trophy should be the target.......but with Fatty as manager

god only knows what will happen
