Thank God the media agenda didn't scupper it.

Massively deserved, obvious for weeks and he's been key to us winning the league.

 

Media agenda perceived or otherwise is irrelevant. I saw an interview where a Chelsea player (can't remember who or when) said none of the team read the papers or watch the sports news. So pointless comment.

 

Thoroughly deserved for Hazard. The best and most consistent player in the league.

I'm hoping he wins it this month, it's between him, Vardy and Benteke in my opinion.

Just seems weird that Eden didn't win any player of the month awards

 

and by my reckoning Jose hasn't won a manager of the month award in his return in the past two seasons yet Rafa Benitez won the award as our manager in April 2013. 

 

Over the past 2 years Pardew, Gary Monks, Brendan Rodgers, Allardyce and Wenger have all won Premier League manager of the month I cant see what they have done better than Jose seeing as we have walked the league

I don't see how he could have been nominated for both, but only be considered worthy of the POTY, not the young POTY.

 

Just looked it up, and Andy Gray, CRonaldo and Bale all won both in the same year.

 

Kane has had an amazing season, but hasn't been better than Hazard, who should have won both.

 

Not that it matters. It was a joke the PFA failed to shortlist JT as well.

Hazard is head and shoulders above any other winger in the premier league bar Sanchez. The way he can just run past defenders like it's nothing is something that is completely invaluable to any team. Hopefully we can keep on harnessing his talent and building our team around him, keep him to stay on and make him a club legend. If he can keep up with his form right now, and the way he plays his name will definetely be alongside some of the greatest players to play in the premier league, and he's only 24. Can't believe we have a player as good as Hazard on our team. PFA completely deserved.

    Individual accolades such player/manager of the month don't mean anything in the long run. What matters, and what history remembers is how many trophies the team won in that season.
