Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend

Those same titles they could go to City, Barca, Real, Bayern, PSG etc. and win whilst having fun with their football and not 'suffering without the ball'.

They have the freedom to hand in a transfer request no? I don't understand how can you spin the statement of "France played anti-football" to " We are tired of Chelsea's anti football", makes no sense because they are not complaining about themselves but their opponents.

Lukaku and De Bruyne played anti-football, not France.

I think it’s just a phrase Eden has been saying for 6 months now, personally it annoys me. Didn’t like his comments after the FA Cup if I’m being honest. He should be thanking Kanté Rudiger etc. for doing the hard work he didn’t have to. Anyway, hopefully if we get Sarri, that argument will become invalid and it will just be how much it’s really about Real Madrid and not tacrics he’s bothered about. Fingers crossed he stays because he is irreplaceable to us currently.

I agree.

France won the game fair and square. If they'd kept it open they would have opened doors to some of the world's best players to score. You could have called them stupid instead of accusing them of playing antifootball. I take win and antifootball comments and play for the title every day of pd the week.

I really don't think Conte plays antifootball. He sets up to win. Last term we had no lethal striker nor a functioning midfield. We were awesome a season before that.

People only complain about the style of football when losing, the comments were just bitter after a huge game, shoudn't be taking seriously. If Martinez really wanted to play with style, he shouldn't have picked Fellani, simply as that.

Fair, he really did put all his big lumps in the middle

They've won more here than City in that time.

They've been here longer than City have been playing the Pep way so obviously would have more. Lets look at our trophy count when Pep leaves and compare over that time period.

They're complaining about a style of football. Quite simple to understand.

They just won the league with 100 pts making the rest look like chums. Pep's only been there 2 seasons. Hopefully they dont win much in coming years but the top teams are all comfortable playing with the ball and something we should aim towards. Ask Atletico or Juventus on how they faired in 2 UCL finals each vs Real by playing 'without the ball'

He won't last at City, I give him another year or two of missing out on key targets and failing in the champions league before he goes and City drop off.

the thought of that prospect actually happening is scary.  the worst part is it could actually happen.

It was meant to be tongue in cheek, as in the board needs to get their head out their arses and do something because this is what will happen if they dont improve the situation :laugh2:

Sour grapes really.

France were the better side simple as that.

That is the way i see it. France did what they had to do and weren't as naive defensively as Brazil and especially Japan. There is no shame in what France did last night, they would have been stupid to open up defensively after going 1-0 up against a team like Belgium.

Jose Mourinho -  "I think the Belgium players go home with a bad feeling. A feeling that we could've done more and better, a feeling that Hazard probably didn't have, because he tried absolutely everything. Many of the other big players, they kept hiding".

That's when beautiful football began @Stim

The likes of Fabio Capello who are bit more credible than you and worked in football for a long time recognised the contribution Pep Guardiola has made to football with his Barcelona side being well renowned. Forget Fabio Capello.or other famous people, your average joe is able to appreciate what Pep has done to the game. Not sure what you're trying to say either, since Pep changed the way a lot of teams play now. Maybe playing hoofball with strong tall centre forwards was popular and considered 'beautiful' in your time.
