This interview where hazard said he made his mind up was in December, which was also around the time he said in a post match interview about emulating lamps and Terry in becoming a legend here, maybe Fabregas knows more than the rest of us? 

It still begs the question if he was going to sign a new deal, why would he wait? 

I'm probably clutching at straws but maybe he is going for a griezmann style social media reveal at the end of the season....

No doubting his talent but his constant references to Real Madrid have sort of tarnished his legacy for me. Fully ready to admit that's just me being petty but I can't shake it nonetheless. 

Most of us will do the same if we were in his shoes.
Its obvious we are no longer as ambitious as we used to be, so I won't blame him.

This is exactly how I thought of it.

I thought it was a strange comment for Hazard to make about Lampard, Terry and Drogba after the Watford game when he was constantly talking about Madrid. Cesc was still at the club when he said this and obviously the interview with RMC was two months ago so a few of the players will know his thoughts and he was close with Cesc so maybe he's told him.

Hazard did say that we will find out very soon, I think he will stay.

Its called opinion, and Danny mills can say what he likes, if he went to Barca he would be third best player probably , so he is correct..

Well he is correct, at City Hazard would be playing with Aguero, Jesus, De Bruyne, Silva, B Silva, Sane, Mahrez, Sterling and Walker and Mendy bombing forward while playing Peps football. Barca have Rakitic, Busquets, Coutinho, Suarez, Messi, Dembele etc. Real have Kroos, Modric, Benzema, Bale, Isco, Casemiro, Asensio. All these teams have top players and all expected to win the champions league, Hazard would need to raise his standards and most likely would.

If Hazard is going to go to RM as a left sided player, i wouldn't be so sure, (just watching the Madrid Derby) that Kid Vinicius Jr is electric and what a player, and RMs future, plus he is only 18....

Crazy right & with Bale constantly coming off the bench and scoring, They will be crazy to buy him but this is Florentino Perez. If he insists ask for Vinicius Jnr straight swap.

 

Its not exactly crazy on Real Madrids part, if they get to sign Hazard for 40m plus a player like Kovacic, Isco or Asensio going the other way then IMO Madrid would be crazy to not do the deal to get a player of Hazards ability. Bale will be 30 next season and is always injured, Benzema 32, Hazard would be an upgrade on Lucas and Asensio, Isco doesn't play much and I see it as a no brainer from Real Madrids view, how often do you get to sign a world class talent for half the price his worth.
