I don't think it will be a disaster if he left.

The disaster will be, if we buy poorly with the money.

Koluibaly + Pepe + Miliojovic-Savic for example would probably cost in the region of £100-£120M, but would freshen up the squad and first 11 to no end

Hazard, no higher than 100m cash.

If we sold Hazard for £100M, I'll assume we'll spend £150M+.

Koulibaly and Milenkovic-Savic signed new contracts recently I think, signing them looks impossible IMO.

Rugani for example still didn't sign a new contract and Juve are bringing some other defensive player I think.
Sarabia is a great midfielder and can play on the wing as well.

IMO Pepe from Lille is currently having an amazing season but I wouldn't jump on that bandwagon just yet. He looks like he has great long legs, good technique and a good pass. But that player isn't going to come to the Bridge to sit on the bench for Willian,CHO or Pulisic, he's the type that you put in the first team and watch him develop into a star.
So we got already CHO and Pulisic, another starter that wants to dribble wouldn't be a necessity, we don't need to spend another £60m for Pepe.

I know it looks bloody unlikely at the moment but it is strange how Fabregas come out and said that.

If Hazard submits a transfer request tomorrow, he'd still be a Chelsea legend in my view. There's a time a player will put himself above the team, can't blame him if decides now it's the time to move on. He hasn't got much to prove with Chelsea, and we aren't even in the CL to win it with him. We will get good compensation, he goes to Spain and we won't cross path too often.

I was trying to make a point that a lump sum of money could overhaul the squad rather than just one key position. Could be far more beneficial. Perhaps we wouldn't have to rely on one player all the time.

In truth I have no idea, it was a rough guess. It wasn't the point of the post.
