I think he had to decided to move if the right offer came in and if not stay, for obvious reasons he could not say that.

ZZ returning to Madrid increases the probability of him leaving though knowing the politics of RM nothing is guaranteed and Hazard is a year older.

He left when Perez didn't want to give him what he wanted, and now got a new job again as a hero with Perez giving him all he wants. Had he stayed and listened to Perez he would have been sacked this season...

If the ban is not lifted and we are not able to sign anyone in the summer, I would argue that we should keep him for 1 more year and let him leave on free transfer. There is a small chance that Real might not go for Hazard and go for someone like Neymar or Mbappe (or both)

Let him go and chuck £100k p/w at CHO. Build the team around him like we did with Hazard back in 2012.

They will need more than that. They would have to get at least €60-70m for Bale. Isco will likely stay I reckon unless they buy someone better. Benzema will probably be sold and they go in for Kane (?) maybe or another good striker, maybe Mbappe. Maybe they go for Eriksen and Hazard. Imagine those three at Real? Immediately strengthens them in most areas. Kovacic will return. Who else they got to sell? 

Hazard gone and we don't get a summer window to buy anybody. Lol. We won't be doing much next season if that's the situation. Only the club's fault though. Failed to build around Hazard, instead bought mediocre players. Hired and fired managers, couldn't settle on a specific system with a direction in mind. Also, courted underage players who they had no intention of ever playing and now face a transfer ban as a consequence.

We are such a poorly run club at the moment. Who would blame Hazard for wanting to leave. His work is done at Chelsea. Good luck at Real Madrid and hopefully he wins a CL medal. He won't be winning one here in the near future that's for sure. The club has shown little ambition to even want to compete at that level any longer. We sell to buy now, and when we do buy it's 1 good player to 2 average ones.

He will tell the club he wants to leave in the summer. Why would he hang around the club just to do what exactly? If we can't sign anyone, we are hardly going to be competing for much next season when our rivals will be able to spend money in the summer to strengthen. It will be one more season of Hazard carrying us. Just put him out of his misery and let him leave. He has achieved enough here. We also have to think about taking the money for him, because we sure as hell will need it for a rebuilding job when the ban is lifted.

If it is happening lets get it sorted soon so he can concentrate on the remainder of our season.

Wouldn't mind that if Hazard is set on leaving...although for any player trade, do we need to loan back the player to RM for one season due to transfer ban?

If Sarri has anything to do with it we probably will.

Terreur is reporting Madrid have already bid 100m euros and that we want around 115m. Madrid have officialy registered interest and are close to our valuation already so this is really not good.

We are in big trouble if he leaves.

If he does leave the rest of the squad will really have to stand up and be counted. We could potentially be a better team without our reliance on him 

Would hate to see him go but it looks inevitable now.

This. Pretty much sums it up for me, but i would add that one of the main reasons we screwed millions on at best average players is the lack of a DOF.

I agree. We would seriously risk decreasing the quality of the squad by selling him in that situation. 

Of course I doubt the club would agree and would rather bank the £100m until we can sign players.
