Although only 18, I'm thinking the board are going to have to be convinced that he's very special before they put in a bid for another attacking midfielder.

Indeed, I think this is one of those signings we'd loan out and see how they develop.

Seems to have a good head on his shoulders, he fired his agent who has been linking him with other clubs despite him saying he wants to stay. I wouldn't want us to sign him at the moment in time, it would ruin his development. 

Seems to have really poor technique for an attacking midfielder. His passing is ok but he seems to stumble forward rather than actually dribble- and that's just in a Youtube video of his best moments!

 

Wonder if, with a bit more physical development, he would become a top class central midfielder a la Toure or Gerrard?

think his technique is good from the 2 games ive seen the u20 world cup. he's a slight and skill winger/inside forward, there's no chance of him becoming a physically imposing box to box midfielder.

I know you can't tell too much from YouTube compilations but the boy looks like he has good pace, confident on both feet and showed a bit of strength at times.

 

 

Not sure a winger/attacking midfielder is what we need but I would assume he'd go straight out on loan if he did sign. 

Looks like he'll get player of the tournament at the U20 World Cup the way he's going. He's still very raw though and I doubt he'd be near our first team anytime soon.

It's certainly the motto I live by.

Just read the Metro article saying we've bid £12m for him and he'll stay with them on loan next season. Also says we have links with the player as we signed his brother Buomesca a few years back but injuries ruined his time with us.
