Real team performance today but gone for Frank.

 

Thought Azpilicueta was fantastic as well. 

Everyone was good. Our full-backs were excellent our centre-halves solid. Really want to give it to Eto'o because he really impressed me but the best player on the pitch was Oscar and this is the Man of the Match thread, am I right ?

Oscar for me, good team performance and Frank looked much more like the Frank that we (and the Wet Spam fans know) a lot of worries about team selection before kick of and but the result was again a pointer the man in charge know a bit about the game...and some rest for some of the boys we'll be needing in the week.

 

Eto'o is starting to fit in and threaten like a proper striker.

Oscar he was excellent throughout, Azpi had another very good game at LB and Lamps rolled back the clock. Overall a very good team performance.

It has to be Oscar but the whole team were outstanding. We've been crying out for Mikel or Essien in midfield and I think that helped us massively.

I had a hard time picking out the MOTM. The was a total team effort. JT & Cahill totally nullified this hapless spammer attack. Oscar & Hazard were just unstoppable when going forward. Everyone played their part & the match didn't really sound like a London Derby. I was expecting Big Sam to play a 451 or a 5311 formation. Whatever he tried totally failed & he had to change his tactics up. Onwards & Upwards for CFC. It was a pleasure to watch CFC demolish the opposition today.

Oscar, thought he was superb today, the difference

Oscar was absolutely wonderful today, worked so hard for the team.

 

Everyone was excellent apart from Cech, who really shouldn't have bothered turning up.

 

Azpi also showed why he's playing instead of Cole, works much harder and is playing very well.

I went for Azpilicueta in the end, I thought he put in an utterly brilliant performance as makeshift left back, he was excellent defensively (that last man tackle on Morrison being the pick of the bunch) and going forward he actually made things happen.

 

Honourable mentions to Ivanovic, Lampard, Oscar and Eto'o, although everyone was very good.

Oscar, the guy was immense. Something happened today that has been lacking in the last few games from him, he was tracking back AND contributing to the attack, if he can continue that all season and throughout his career he is going to be remembered as one of the greats.

 

Great team performance all around, we gotta keep it up though.

Lamps, for the way he kissed the Chelsea badge in front of the wet spam fans. His penalty was a belter too. 

 

Honourable mentions to Oscar, Azpi and Eto'o

Mikel. Made all the difference. Let Frank and Ramires do their thing.

 

Honourable mention to Dave who will be keeping Ash on the bench for another week I would suggest.

Got to give it to the bionic man. Oscar's stamina is just unbelievable. He always does the right thing, and he does it quickly. A real no nonsense Brazilian! Loved the way he stroked that ball into the net like he was potting a snooker ball. Sheer class

Wet Spam were truly dire.

Oscar for me but Mikel was excellent.Great all round team performance and special mention for SFL,Chelsea legend and a permanent thorn in Wet Spams side.

Some great performances, namely Lamps, Dave, and Mikel but this is one of the easies MOTM selections for me this season.

Should also have mentioned how well Eto'o is beginning to gel into the team, great work ethic.

Oscar gets my vote, once again excellent with and without the ball.

 

I don't think I have ever known and attacking player to win as many tackles as he does.

 

Honourable mention to Lampard for putting two goals past the numpties.
