October 28, 201510 yr He's really not a right back is he? Unfair playing him there in my opinion. Nope. You could see how hard he was trying to be a full back last night, attempting to overlap and doing step-overs and everything. The thing is, when he did overlap and receive the ball he didn't know what to do with it. Most of the time he would give it back to whoever gave it to him and when he did cross, it was poor. It is unfair to play him as one and it's not good for the squad that one full-back injury and we're very short there. If Baba or Dave gets injured he'd have to play there which isn't good. I don't understand why we keep playing people in our back four out of their natural position. Dave has excelled at left back but has always struggled going forward because he's on his weaker foot, imagine how much better for us he could have been if played on this favoured foot instead? Instead of square pegging Zouma into defensive midfield and right back just play squad members more suited to the role. I don't understand why we seem to square peg, round hole it so much.
October 28, 201510 yr Good penalty from the big man. Smashed it hard straight down the middle. Love it.
October 28, 201510 yr Agreed on the penalty, it took some balls to take on the responsibility as well, especially considering how well Stoke were hitting theirs. I was absolutely terrified when he stepped up that he might blast it over the bar (clearly his was never going to be a placed shot) but he stuck it away nicely. I have very high hopes for Zouma; even at such a young age he's clearly got the trust of the manager, and he has taken on a fairly big role in the team. Well done lad, I can see you having a brilliant and very long future with us.
October 30, 201510 yr Good signing from Emenalo, are you allowed to say that on here?. Zouma is doing well, so hes clearly a Mourinho signing
October 31, 201510 yr Good signing from Emenalo, are you allowed to say that on here?. Good CB, totally sh*te RB.
October 31, 201510 yr Zouma is doing well, so hes clearly a Mourinho signing Nah, Mourinho clearly wants nothing to do with Zouma because he gave him even less game time than KDB in his first 6 months.
October 31, 201510 yr Nah, Mourinho clearly wants nothing to do with Zouma because he gave him even less game time than KDB in his first 6 months. If only that was true, it could almost be a good point.
October 31, 201510 yr If zouma is playing RB he needs to be quicker at anticipating runs. He was caught out on a few passes this way when the ball was pushed into space for him, but he did not make the run.
November 5, 201510 yr A composed and mature performance by Zouma last night. He should play as a CB from now on. What a tackle by the way.
November 5, 201510 yr Going to be a star God-willing. Still so young. Fantastic tackle but I was fearing the worst.
November 5, 201510 yr That tackle was so good, to have the composure to make sure he positioned himself alongside the attacker so as not to go through the back of him when making the challenge was brilliant.
November 5, 201510 yr A composed and mature performance by Zouma last night. He should play as a CB from now on. What a tackle by the way. A poster on another forum (I never saw the game) said Zouma along with terry was awful. I'd like to think he's in the minority.
November 5, 201510 yr Going to be the nelly negative on that tackle, it was brilliant but high risk, and it was his reading of the game that caused him to have to make it. JT in his mid 20s rarely had to make such tackles because he read the game so well. Im a bug fan of zouma, and think he's a starter right now for us but would like to see him not needing to make these kind of tackles
November 5, 201510 yr Perhaps...but he's only 21! To have that high pressure omposure at that age is an excellent sign
November 5, 201510 yr His reading of the game will improve with age and experience.I look upon it as a well improvised tackle.Outstanding prospect in central defence.
November 5, 201510 yr It was poor reading/positioning that meant the striker was through, but that tackle was still phenomenal. To pull off such a high risk tackle which would have been a penalty and a red card was very brave. He's a no nonsense centre-back with such tremendous potential. He's just not, and probably never will be, a right-back in the slightest.

To have that high pressure omposure at that age is an excellent sign Agree completely and I'm really excited about him, much better then I thought he was going to be. If the positioning and reading of the game comes up to level we expect he will have it all
