I am a Leeds United and England fan, however I have a soft spot for Chelsea, mainly due to Jose Mourinho.

 

Anyway, I am here to ask if you would you be so kind as to sign and share this?

 

I want John Terry at Rio 2014 - he is England's best defender and therefore improves our chances in the competition.

 

Who knows, if this gets enough signatures, Roy and John may put there differences to one side to help England!

 

No-one except the two of these truly knows what the issues are so I don't want to promote any sort of debate on that front...I simply want to see John Terry back in an England jersey.

Nice sentiment and fully agree, we would do much better with him but I think that ship has long sailed unfortunately.

John Terry is one of England's best defenders no doubt about it.

 

However, it'd be too much of a gamble to bring him along to Brazil.

 

 

I'd much rather let the English national team crash out at the group stages after conceding four goals a game and then laugh when the media inquisition asks "What happened to England's defenders?"

Bad I know but I feel nothing for the football national team. I actually enjoy seeing them lose. I love the england cricket team and support english people in other sports like f1 but the england football team I'm sorry I just hate them.

 

For that reason no I think the only plane jt should be getting on in the summer is to a holiday destination! If I cared about the england team then i'd be desperate for him to play.

It's time we got rid of the OAPs in charge -

I want to get behind my home country but nothing changes!

JT would be in a 'lose / lose' position if he went to Brazil.

I'd prefer for him to have the summer off, at his age... Give him a rest so he can be fresh for winning the premiership the next season!!

Plus I'm sure if the unthinkable happens & England do win the World Cup Finals in Brazil.....

JT will 'pop' out of the crowd with the full jersey on (socks and all) to celebrate on the pitch with the trophy!!!!!!!!

The FA don't deserve him, this summer i'm going to sit back with a cold brew and watch Smalling and Jagielka make an absolute joke of our defence against Suarez/Cavani and whatever Italy throw at us.

I still want England to do well but I've learned to laugh when they do lose. It's going to be an easier watch this summer anyways as we'll probably only have one Chelsea player in Cahill in the starting lineups.

I reckon Roy would have JT back in a heartbeat if it were down to him. Unfortunately the FA burned that bridge when they chose to play to the gallery and hang him out to dry, on the balance of probabilities, for saying something nobody heard after already being acquitted in a law court. As a result, England will go to a World Cup without one of our few world class players.

Funny that you brought that point up. Hanson & Shearer were saying the same thing on MOTD. However I agree w/ Shearer. JT should stay away, cause joining England would only hurt his domestic career. Then again they compared JT & Jagielka performances. That showed that JT is the better option for England. I will be selfish & state it right here, I rather JT not play for England. I rather England get more Wet Spam GKs like Robert Green & David James. Those guys always give us Yanks a chance to play w/ England
