August 22, 201411 yr I don't think you understand how bad the racism problem is in Italy, even their FA President is a racist dipsh*t Seedorf has no choice if he wants to be a manager there, he needs to play by the old white man's rules. Personally I find it appalling and until Presidents/Players/Fans who racially abuse players aren't banned from football grounds in Italy the issue won't be resolved. I can certainly understand players not wanting to play in such a toxic environment. Don't think I am, it's not as bad as the media make out. Pretty much everyone in Italy wants the president gone because him saying stupid sh*t like that, it's not like they are advocating him or something.
August 22, 201411 yr Has anyone noticed that QPR has Isla and Vargas, Chileans from Juventus and Napoli, on loan for the season? How did they pull that off? I found that weird too. If these promising European players are coming to England to play for QPR I cant imagine it is because they grew up watching QPR or that they have dreamed of working with Harry Redknapp. Must be the money because why would you leave Turin or Naples for Sheperds Bush. They have also spent big on Mutch (6M), Caulker (8M) and Fer (7M) which is crazy money for a newly promoted team. Quite impressive business by Redknapp to be fair but if he doesnt keep them up QPR are once again f*cked and we will probably still have the papers calling for our media darling to take over from Hodgson.
August 22, 201411 yr The parachute payments are so large now they can easily spend sh*t loads and still be okay if they get relegated.
August 22, 201411 yr Last football highlight on the 50 years of Match of the Day programme? Steven Gerrard scoring a goal. 50 years worth of highlights and they end with a guy who has never won the league scoring a goal that would have achieved nothing. Figure that one out.
August 22, 201411 yr I love Ferdinand's arrogance, Comparing himself with Loew, Klinsmann, Guardiola and Mourinho, Saying how they were all young 'geezers' when they started out as managers and look at them now. Only difference is Loew managed for about 4/5 clubs prior to becoming involved in the German set up, Guardiola was in charge of the B team at Barca and Mourinho was a translator for Bobby then managed in Portugal at a club which name slips my mind and then he got his break at Porto and from there he made his way up, None of those guys demanded anything unlike this self righteous little rag ba-stard. A perfect example of the modern day English footballers mind set, They just don't want to put the graft in, I can't be bothered to go and manage Leyton Orient for two years so that then maybe a club like Villa can come after me and then from there I can land a Tottenham/Everton type job, No I'm not doing that, I've got all the answers, I've got a philosophy, If I can't land a top 4 club job or England, I'm working as a pundit. There are very few people on this planet I would coin the term, "I hate that person!" being "hate" is such a strong word for a person one does not know. However, with that said I truly think Rio "Jigsaw Puzzle" Ferdinand may be the closest for me ever to brandish that term on. His brother comes a close second. If I could go back in time, I would pay Mrs. Ferdinand to never have children. Sure offing her would be much easier but then I would be giving up all my principles as a human being and be just like those two clowns who were spawned by her. Rather just pay her what it takes and be on with my life, principles intact. Edited August 22, 201411 yr by DoubleHelix
August 22, 201411 yr Good reaction from Jamie to be fair. Can't help but think if an adult asked that as a joke probably wouldn't have got the same response lol. Dreaded the thought of him as a pundit but actually quite like him. This comment on the YouTube post is priceless. "He should've asked, Jaime have you ever won the Premiership? .... dead silence... "
August 23, 201411 yr They got a really good deal on Balotelli, but he has to behave himself. You can't change who he is deep down and why should you, it's his character and attitude what scores him goals. He always likes to prove people wrong, but the new contract and the big wage hike looks promising for Liverpool to be fair. It's not like Liverpool have gave him 200 grand a week wages because he would have took the piss out of them like he did with City. I think it will be a good signing, he is a fantastic player with great attributes he just needs to concentrate more on his football and clean up his life style a bit, easier said than done but harder things have been accomplished in the past. To be honest, he has never proven anybody wrong when they have questioned him. Every club he has been at it hasn't worked out for him. Inter Milan, Man City, AC Milan, he's lucky that he has managed to play for all of these teams with his behaviour.
August 23, 201411 yr Just waiting until Danny boy doesn't pass him the ball when he gets in a good position....then we might see some fireworks. This will be fun watching Liverpool's front line implode.

Inter Milan, Man City, AC Milan, he's lucky that he has managed to play for all of these teams with his behaviour. That wasn't the whole point of my post. Well anyway here is an example, remember in his City days when he slipped over in front of the Villa fans and they all laughed at him, what did he do? He got mad and confronted them and said I'm going to score. After that He made it his mission to score, and about 5 minutes later he scores an overhead kick from a corner and then goes running right back to those set of fans that laughed at him. He's just that type of player, he does play with a lot of anger and sometimes he plays with the don't give a f**k mentality which we are all familiar with.
August 23, 201411 yr Did anyone watch the Spanish Super Cup? I'm glad Atletico won (beat Real 2-1 on aggregate) - I think they can definitely still compete this season despite losing key players. Simeone is a great manager. Maybe, but second time now he has gone absolutely nuts and got sent off. Perhaps the pressure is getting to him.
August 23, 201411 yr I live in southport, which is a popular place for Liverpool players to live. At the moment I think there's only sterling living here, I really hope balotelli moves here, so I might hear some interesting stories.
August 23, 201411 yr Balotelli is a good player however he will not fill the void left by that disgusting human being Saurez. Whilst a horrid individual he is clearly a fantastic player and (for on the field action last season) clearly deserved to win POTY. It just stinks of Spuds, sell your best player and buy good/mediocrity with the funds... Just doesn't work. I think they'll fight for top 4 this season but no where near title challengers, think the mental beating they must have taken last season will take it's toll on them.
August 23, 201411 yr Someone on another thread had the brassneck to call Frank Lampard a mercenary. This man (Balotelli) is the ultimate and the epitome of a mercenary. This if he joins the Mickey Mousers will be his fifth team and he's just turned 24. And what do you get.Very little one in four games a decent performance. He puts more effort trying to get a bib on then he gives you in the following 90 minutes. He'll whore himself about the football world for the rest of his career PSG, Monaco, the UAE anywhere where he can make a few bob without breaking sweat.

Having said that there are only 3-4 players that are as good as suarez, it's just impossible to replace him so the best we can do is get someone a level below him, ballotelli has lots of potential, whether he'll realise it or not is anyones guess but im hyped to f**k about him. Also i think the fact that we finished second and above chelsea will spur us on if anything
August 23, 201411 yr Liverpool have sold a world class player and brought in several lower class players. Balotelli has a poor goal return too so won't really be as lethal as Suarez was. Arsenal, City and ourselves are far stronger than the dippers. I think they will be slugging it out with United, Spurs and others for 4th

August 23, 201411 yr Is that old Joe Cole on the Villa bench ?Yeah, he was a merry old soul and a merry old soul was he.
