Perhaps a dig at Rafa too? 

Deep down he probably does honestly regret not joining us. He could have had 2 or 3 league medals by now, several FA cups, another CL. 

Cannot stand Gerard and nothing would make me happier than to imagine him and Brenda holding hands and skipping off over the horizon and beyond my tv and radio.

maybe he's just saying that the FSW was what stopped Liverpool winning titles.

I see the statement as more of a dig towards Rafa rather than having regrets about not joining Chelsea. I think he might have a tinge of regret not joining us back in 2005 but I suspect now that he's satisfied with being written into Liverpool 'folklore' as Brenda would say! 

 

Interesting that ten years ago Rodgers was actually a coach with us so I would wonder if him wanting to have met Rodgers 10 years ago and him being at Chelsea at roughly the same time interconnect with what Stevie G is thinking or if they're mutually exclusive.

 

One way or another I think it's a massive dig at Rafa to be honest as it's suggesting that Rodgers is capable of bringing Liverpool a title whereas Rafa was inept in this department despite his relatively strong Champions League record and only having one great season in the EPL with Liverpool back in 2009.

If he'd came to us, then Liverpool wouldn't have won a European Cup again, and SG would have eventually with us?? I know it's all conjecture., but just playing along

I did think of compiling a "Brendan Rodgers Bingo"  but the problem is that everyone would have the same words!

I'd add 'Technician'; I wasn't aware that Rodgers used the word until I saw that spoof video. He does use it a lot. We have technicians at work to fix our photocopier but Brendan probably doesn't mean that...

I'm interested in how long the Liverpool fanbase are going to stick behind him, and how long they're going to keep throwing him money.
