February 23, 201511 yr Oh Brenda, if your Aunty had balls she'd be your Uncle....! The bloke is a 24 carat loon.
February 26, 201511 yr He was brave to take the penalty and showed courage with the penalty and character and spirit etc etc YAWN
February 27, 201511 yr He was brave to take the penalty and showed courage with the penalty and character and spirit etc etc YAWN He should come up with something new. Has he done "exceptional" yet?
February 27, 201511 yr Dunno how they lasted 120 minutes whilst wearing such heavy shirts. The weight of those shirts have caused many an expensive signing to not play well Edited February 27, 201511 yr by Stim
March 1, 201511 yr I could have been a world class violinist, if i could play the violin. Just seen this ................ No you wouldn't have............. you'd only fiddle with it!!!!!!!
March 2, 201511 yr Author He seems to be coming good in the league, really approached the Man C game well. I suppose he is due a little bit of credit to be right up there for 4th spot, everyone else seems to be stumbling which has helped them, but their recent league results have been quite good.
March 2, 201511 yr I thought they looked very good yesterday, they played well at the Bridge in the LC too.
March 2, 201511 yr I preferred it when we could laugh at them. Please can normal service be resumed asap.
March 2, 201511 yr Must've got a 'Dummies Guide to Managing' book for Christmas, although they seem to be running into teams who are eminently beatable and taking their chances. Yes they beat City but this City team is wildly inconsistent at times. Southampton have started to slip and lost to West Brom. They beat Spurs by the odd goal in 5 after failing to break down Everton and even had to take Bolton to a replay. I'm sure their fans will talk about them being back, but let's just wait and see.
March 2, 201511 yr It's Liverpool they will no doubt go on to lose against a bottom side soon enough. It's hard to choose who I'd rather finished outside the top 4 though... Spuds The dippers United Arse Hmmmmm.
March 2, 201511 yr It's Liverpool they will no doubt go on to lose against a bottom side soon enough. It's hard to choose who I'd rather finished outside the top 4 though... Spuds The dippers United Arse Hmmmmm. Arsenal in the top four keeps Wenger in a job so that's fine. United need to stay out of the top four for as long as possible. Spurs don't have the squad to cope with CL football and the league at the same time so would likely falter and not make it back in after one season. So ideally the league would finish with us, City, Arsenal and Spurs as the top four.
March 7, 201511 yr Anyone think that Man City would go for Rodgers? I think Pelegrini is on borrowed time, and they'll can him at the end of the season. Could Brendan sell them on the idea that his sexy brand of character building football is exactly what City need to bring it all home?? I seriously doubt he's considered a "big enough" name for them, and they'll look to continental Europe (Spain, or a Spanish manager currently in Germany) for their next manager. But, imagine the furor.
March 7, 201511 yr He's won nothing as a manager, i very much doubt a team wanting PL and CL success would hire him.
March 7, 201511 yr He's won nothing as a manager, i very much doubt a team wanting PL and CL success would hire him. He could be their AVB - a young manager brought in to build something longer term.

March 23, 201511 yr Today's Daily Mail: Asked if he accepted his captains apology, Rodgers said: ' Yeah, he knows as well as anyone it's difficult to play big games with 10 men. He's a wonderful character '. Edited March 23, 201511 yr by NorthernMonkey
March 23, 201511 yr Oh God really? Has anyone ever seen that movie where the bus needs to keep driving at a certain speed to stop the bomb from exploding? I forgot whose in it but it seems like a Bruce Willis kind of movie. I think it's fair to say something similar is going on at liverpool, but then instead of the bus and the bomb it's Liverpool and the bomb. Edited March 23, 201511 yr by CFCholland

Isn't that with Keanu Reeves (that may also be a holiday destination to go diving ).

March 23, 201511 yr Rodgers on Costa stamp "He could easily hurdle over the young player and he directs his studs right on to his ankle, which could've been nasty." Rodgers on Gerrard stamp “Steven, in the changing room, apologised to the players and to myself,” Rodgers told Sky Sports. “It was probably frustration there from Steven, he’s an honest guy, very competitive and probably frustrated at the first half watching us because we never put a tackle in, we never made a challenge. “He’s come on and unfortunately got sent off. The players adjusted well, Steven has said his apology and we move on. “He’s a guy that knows as well as anyone that it is difficult to play in the big games with 10 men but he’s a wonderful character and he’ll be as disappointed as anyone.” Rodgers on Skrtel stamp “I’ve seen that and the ball is played through and in slow motion it looks worse that what it probably is,” he said. “I think he is stretching to get that toe on the ball and it’s then gone in to the keeper’s hands and when you see it in slow motion it looks like he has maybe purposely stood on him but Martin’s not that type of player and he was just a fraction out and then the referee blows the final whistle.” So to confirm Costa is nasty and Gerrard is honest & probably frustrated while Skrtel looks bad in slow motion and of course he's not that type of player (which if there is anybody who is that type of player Sktrtel is your man).
