We lost three duels and we need to win the first one.

I'm delighted with our performances this week against Manchester United, Bournemouth and Arsenal, it shows we are getting back to where we are.

At half-time we asked for more of the same with the same movement and then we showed great character to fight back from 2-1 down with 10 men.

I don't think before this week we have been close to that level of speed and thought. You have to be creative as a coach to find a system that brings you back to that."

A very average Man Utd stuffed them 3-0, they beat an over-achieving Championship side in the League Cup and grabbed a last gasp equaliser at home to a mediocre Arsenal team. Incredible levels of bullsh*t, even by Rodgers standards.

I've been staying away from this thread for the most part but I don't think I can help myself anymore. This man really does have delusions of grandeur - I suppose he thinks that by playing with three at the back he's some sort of innovator? Yeah Brendan, you're the first British manager in history to ever think along those lines... I'm at a loss for words, and the sad part is that I bet that a good portion of Liverpool's support buy into his every word hook, line and sinker.

 

The very fact that we have a 20-page long thread dedicated solely to the ridiculous things that he spouts says it all really.
