Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015

What I will say is this : Ibra leaves the ground with both feet. And while it was a nothing challenge he has given the ref a decision to make

Why SKY never have a "Chelsea" pundit on these occasions puzzles me. You can be sure if Arsenal, United or Liverpool are in Europe there will be some explayer there to represent the "British" club; we just get done over time and time again by a bunch of guys with no affinity for our club. In fact these guys are completely p***ed off that we have usurped and eclipsed their former clubs and part of them can't get over that.

They're a bunch of bitter c**ts

Exactly and the Chelsea players reacted to what they thought at the time was a bad challenge, to call it gamesmenship is biased and bitter punditry.

Sky talking sh*t again. I agree it probably wasn't a sending off (based only after a couple of viewings), but watching it first time I was 100% sure it must be a red

We can complain about the pen but they should have had one too.

Ramires was rash, and stupid.

Red was undeserved.

Hazard as usual our best player, by miles.

Come on Chelsea.

You mean Veratti diving right ?

Henry's only been on sky 6 months and already speaking out of his a*se. Apparently the ref should be the man of the match for making 2 wrong decisions.

Not a red for me. Our players' reaction pushed the ref over for red.

Psychologically I don't like our situation but playing with 11 v 10 is an advantage for sure.

Oscar did exactly the same. it was 50-50.

I disagree Oscar played the ball with his instep and his left leg was no where near Ibra, Ibra was off the ground and both legs went in to Oscar, that's a red card and I don't doubt the ref will stand by it, I respect other people's opinion but if you don't get the ball and go in with two legs, you're asking for trouble

Oscar had just played the ball, which Zlatan was nowhere near.

This is the thing for me, he balls already away when they collide.

I'm confused as to why people think Ibra's tackle wasn't red? You're taught from a very young age that you can't jump in to tackles and you can't go in with two legs

You are entirely right! In the words of the law that is. In most of our minds, had it have been a Chelsea player for instance, he kept his legs tucked away as he realized he was late. I'd have liked it to be a yellow for this reason. But the law of the game is two feet off the floor going into a tackle is a straight red

I don't like how we reacted after the red. We need to get over that period and try to play football

I think that's more to do with the incident when Barnes almost broke Matic's leg but not one of our players reacted to it. Maybe Jose has asked our players to be a bit more protective of their teammates in such situations.

i would love veratti in our team

If we need someone to run contributing nothing other than constantly fouling people then we can just ask Ramires to do it.

Oscar got the ball numpty !!

shows just how much you know about football when you thikn all that matters is getting the ball

either way, since you cant argue like a grown up im putting you on ignore

Also Oscar and Ibra didn't go in in a similar way at all, Ibra dived in with both feet off the ground and Oscar didn't, thats why Oscar is still on and Ibra is off.

Odd thing to focus on at half time by Sky, they've basically blamed Chelsea for the ref giving a wrongful red card?

Surely the refs job is to be strong?

I don't think our players swayed the decision I just think it was a poor decision.

PSG kicked our players all over the pitch in the first leg and we git nothing that game, of course we was going to react to any poor challenges tonight.

They made their bed, now they're laying in it.

i would love veratti in our team

So would I, brilliant player who gets stuck in. Gets away with fouls because of his small stature though, players like him get away with quite a lot before they start getting booked for persistent fouling.
