what matters is who needs less shots to score, who has the highest conversion rate, you can narrow it down to shots inside the box and Costa still comes out on top you can add Kane's 7 penalties and Aguero's 10 penalties to boost their stats and Costa still comes out on top. 

Aguero is obviously the better player, anyone who thinks otherwise has their dark blue tinted glasses on.

That being said Diego was quality yesterday

one thing costa does better than any other striker i have seen maybe barring suarez is chase the ball down like nobodies business. he is constantly hounding the defence and keeper into forcing mistakes. 

so how is that relevant? your acting as if i think Aguero isnt a good striker, the fact is Costa is the better finisher. Simple.

The same question how does it not make any difference if someone has all there shots from 3 yrds to someone who might have all there shots just inside the box? Or someone who has all tap ins to someone who has difficult angle shots. None of this is taken into consideration with those stats. So to just say well this shows this so it has to be true is like someone who has never watched a football match.

Also Aguero might have more shots because he makes those chances for himself or because he try's different type of shots like hitting the ball first time.

Tbh if Costa spent more time in the box specially when Mourinho was there last season he could of had more shots.

Costa is a good player but not on Agueros level, his the best in the premiership at the moment.

He does need to get over it, although it was definitely a yellow card, if that was a midfieler that showed too much of the ball but got clattered late, it would be a yellow all day, regardless of the miscontrol that promted the challenge.

Thought costa did well last night, still ran into trouble too many times, but his head was in the right place, and he looked sharp.

Aguero hattrick! surely wont play against a worse defence this season! with better finishing he would have had 6 tonight!
