Would have loved to see him play for us again next season, as I do believe that any of the strikers we are currently linked with bar Aguero ( which I don't see as feasible) as a downgrade. He has now disrespected the club and I struggle to see the fans now accepting him. With this in mind I'd love to see a letter arrive on his doormat something along these lines.

Glad to see you’re having a good time on your extended holiday at my expense. Over the years I have many millions of hard earned rubles invested in my football club, building a successful team with a good brand identity, I have enjoyed myself as I hope have most of the fans of Chelsea FC, many who have followed the team for many years.

With this in mind I would like you to report for training by Friday 21^st July at the latest. If you fail to appear after this date we will dock you a days wage for every day you are missing. Please ensure you bring your Athletic shirt with you, as you are no longer fit to wear the Chelsea kit that you have disrespected.As you will be training alone you will no longer be allowed to use the clubs main facilities, I have arranged for a portakabin to be erected in a corner of the training ground,where you can change and have a dump.

The Athletic shirt will be as near as you get to play for them in the next two years, as I have decided to forego the transfer fee and hold onto your contract till expires.

I thought Chelsea have been in pre season training since the 10th? The article was on the 17th and the video in Brazil.

Mate....it isn't pedro playing the guitar, it was a joke since it looks vaguely like him, I'm hoping you were joking back otherwise someone is going to trick you out of your lunch money one of these days.

I'm not actually joking, you are so defensive of Costa and when I read something about Costa's first touch being one of his best attributes then I should have taken it as a joke.

I think you're trying to distract from the point you put your foot in it thinking that I was genuine in my assessment of that being pedro playing the guitar.

I'm not distracting, I did think you was being serious because you are so defensive of Costa. You could be saying you're joking once you put your foot in. I don't know and don't care TBH. Doesn't matter if I thought that was pedro which anyone with a bit of sense knows I didn't  "stirring with his little guitar" come on man...but the fact that you started talking about him being in preseason and saying he didn't wear an athletico shirt shows YOU took it serious and that's what's silly.

There you go, have corrected a mistake in your letter that no Athleticzale (Athletic Club Bilbao fan) or colchonero (follower of Atlético de Madrid) would be able to ignore... 

I honestly cant believe the amount of stick the guvnor gets. he won us 2 titiles and always gave 110percent. Ok he had  a falling out with Conte but that doesnt erase all he has done for us.He pretty much benched Batshuayi for a whole season . He will always be a legend in my eyes SALUTE 

how much do you guys think we'll get for him? £40m? £50m? i hope we don't settle for less than either of those figures.

Don't think I've ever disagreed with a post on so many levels.

It was the team that won those titles, he was a part of it. He was a big part of it but his efforts since Christmas could have lead to losing that one.

No chance of 50m, I doubt even 40m but it might be worth that much with addons.

The stats show he was the striker than won his team the most points. Remember is last minute goals in our first 2 games of the season. we cud have easily drawn our first 2 games of the season. You are right that the team won the league but Costa was a HUGE reason. Even Conte was scared to bench him when he was out of form bcoz he knew how important Diego was to the team. Ona footballing Level He was a boss. And def earned the name GUVNOR  (SALUTE)

now that we arent desperate keep him on the books until a proper offer comes in, send him off on loan, so no wages and just wait, sooner or later a team will need him and make a proper offer.
