Is this a move Petr would want, would we be willing to let this happen? I guess better to get a fee and let it happen than he moves there next season for free having become a disgruntled club legend. Still I would rather he moved abroad. Question is how do we feel about it? Had Petr earned the right to be allowed to go to a rather disliked rival? Should we show him that respect to allow such a move? Should he respect us and move elsewhere? Hard question to answer.
CFCBlue12
Haha Mourinho wouldn't even sell Arsenal Hilario, let alone Cech.
AsianBoy
Chelsea respect Cech enough that he can choose where he goes, I'm sure he will respect Chelseea enough not to leave for Arsenal
Stim
I'd be livid. Not at Cech though.
RichardCFC
I wouldn't blame Cech but I'd be hugely disappointed if he went to Arsenal, a strong rival and a team that actually seems like a genuine title contender now.
ForeverCarefree
After what, eleven years at the club? Could we begrudge him staying in London seeing as we are the ones who have already appointed his successor? Wouldn't be happy that Arsenal have a quality goalkeeper but if we got £10m plus I don't think we could complain. Very likely to happen I would say. RichardCFC
Very likely to happen I would say. The odds have Roma and Liverpool as more likely destinations but I don't know how much can be taken from that.
enigma
I am sure one of the Spanish clubs will be in for him. I think either Atletico or Real. All this speculation is pure bollocks. Look at his twitter account when that Utd supporter said "sign for Utd" and Cech replied "You wish." I think he would have a lot more respect for Chelsea than to do that. Bobbywoodhogan
If we do let him go there then we are f**king idiots, Arsenal with a top goalkeeper would be really up there in the title fight. It's been one of their problem areas for a long time. You don't strenthen your rivals, especially at a low cost.

Wouldn't be happy that Arsenal have a quality goalkeeper but if we got £10m plus I don't think we could complain. Very likely to happen I would say. This. What does he owe us, to not join a local rival? He doesn't. We have told him he's no longer required when he still has plenty to offer, and he is supposed to avoid signing for another top team in England? Can't see it. I would really like him to sign for a top team in Europe, but he has a family and is settled here. If he signed for Arsenal he wouldn't even have to move house, let alone country. Whatever happens, whoever he signs for, I'll always welcome him to the Bridge. He's a legend. All time great.
RichardCFC
I'd like to reiterate that I'd be disappointed if he went, but not at Petr. He can go wherever he wants and still be a Chelsea legend in my eyes.

Chelsbear
We'd be mugs to let it happen. I love petr but I hope he loves the club enough not to move to those horrible goons. Edited April 12, 2015 by Chelsbear
dan_cfc
They can f**k right off, they wont be spunking 15 or so million that we would probably be looking for can see him going somewhere abroad maybe PSG and the day he leaves I will be gutted our greatest ever keeper, top bloke and absolute legend. Jonty
I wrote this off when this rumour first got raised. And now that Arsenal are looking like our likely main rivals next season i'm even more certain this will never happen.
Scott Harris
If we sell him to Arsenal i would be livid. He would win them 10-20 points a season. It was bad enough seeing Lampard go to City for a season, i don't think i could stand seeing another of my all time favourites going to a rival. It's Arsenal for f**k sake. icecoolguy22
If it's London Cech wants to live, how about a year at QPR on loan? Just kidding, Cech is a true legend, he will respect the fans/club, and he has better place to go.

HazardsLeftPeg
I must admit, I'm more worried about Arsenal for next season than I have been in a long time. While I agree with those saying Cech deserves to go wherever he wants to, I really, really hope this doesn't happen.
AndyBlue82
I think he must realised that he will somewhat tarnish his reputation if he moved to Arsenal. Not saying he should or shouldn't go but I trust that Big Pete will make the right choice when the time comes.
Thacker
So what are you trying to say here, is that a yes or a no?I would shed a tear if I saw Petr (still in his prime) lining up for Arsenal and helping them fight us for trophies.
