He scored more goals than 25% of all the other clubs, what a terrible league.

That happens every season in Spain. It's not a clear indicator of the leagues standard.

I agree serie a isnt as strong as what it was 15/20 years ago, but 36 goals in Italy is a fantastic achievement, especially at a club that didn't win the league.

He is a fantastic goalscorer, not much else to his game though, and hasnt always performed on the big occasion.

I think he would score goals here, as he has everywhere else, but he would need tof score goals in the big games to justify what would be a massive fee.

Far better than Costa with his technically ability, passing, hold up play, etc.

ffs, a non-league player just came second highest scorer in our league this season, does that make the prem a poor league? the defending in this league has been a bit of a shambles too to be fair. higuain has done well in both the spanish and now italian leagues.

No it proves that a good scouting network brings dividends. Plenty of players have come into the top division via non league and lower divisions, many just need the oppurtunity to prove themselves at the higher level.

Higuain is so underrated by people on here.

To be honest, i don't know what to make of any player that plays in the Italian league, their league is so different from ours. Every time i see clips of players, it look's like teams let you play around with the ball without any pressure over there. It's so hard to tell if players can adapt to our league after playing in Italy.

True, but vardy is 29 and before this season an unknown. I dunno what happened to him, but top strikers tend to show their ability way before that age. I think it's harsh to criticise and/or dohbt higuain ability as he's proved himself in two of the top league, including spain which is arguably the best league in europe.

curious to see if people still want this guy. I hear he is available, but only if a club agrees to the €94 Million Buyout clause

Not for that money.  I think he's good, but never been overly impressed with him.  I also don't think that the Copa America did much to his value, other than maybe drive it down a bit.

Higuain only scores vs Bolivia or Panama - I am sure if he said he wasn't returning to the National team, no one from Argentina will beg him to return

That is typical Higuain there. He scores a lot of goals but he misses some great chances in the biggest games. He did the same for Argentina in the world cup final. If i was from Argentina he would really annoy me.

i wasthinking of this one exactly.. Could have won it all for his team, avoided pens, but he does that.
