Same here. We really have hit luck if we manage to get Begovic as our no2 goalkeeper. He is someone who can be no1 at a team challenging for trophies.

It won't Begovic only has a year left on his contract i think and not surprisingly he isn't signing a new one. The only surprise to me is the lack of big cubs going for him which could be a blessing for us. If i was Van Gaal i would replace De Gea with Begovic.

According to reliable Di Marzio, we agreed personal terms with Begovic and are just negotiating the transfer fee. I have to say I agree with this, Van Gaal could do a lot worse and Begovic would be getting first team chip ons league footie. Stoke however are in the driving seat over fee negotiation. £6.5m is a long way off £10M
