July 2, 201511 yr The Guardian is reporting that Falcao's family has told them that he's signed with Chelsea and will be joining us for pre-season. It's going to be Juan Sebastian Veron all over again.
July 2, 201511 yr I'd go with more like Torres all over again. Used to be world class Got injured Lost pace and Power High cost Now hardly scores Oh and he got a haircut to see if that can help get his old self back too...
July 2, 201511 yr Used to be world class Went to United Looked sh*te We think we can do better Sign him up
July 2, 201511 yr I've read that Jose has blocked Remy's move few times, I hope Remy stays as 2nd choice.
July 2, 201511 yr We have Costa and hopefully can keep Remy so as much as I think Falcao will flop, I don't think it will matter too much as we have two very good players above him. The only problem is that's it's a bit of a waste of money. But if it keeps Jose and his agent happy then so be it.
July 3, 201511 yr Is anyone actually looking forward to this loan being announced ??? First Cuadrado, now this ... FFS Jose we can definitely do better than these two ...
July 3, 201511 yr Is anyone actually looking forward to this loan being announced ??? First Cuadrado, now this ... FFS Jose we can definitely do better than these two ... If it was a permanent transfer I would be a little disappointed but a years loan is pretty low risk in the grand scheme of things. Considering Jose first season our strike force was Torres, Eto'o and Ba and now we're potentially going into a season with Costa, Falcao and Remy I'm more than happy, our striking options are now a million times better than when Mourinho arrived.
July 3, 201511 yr Remy and Costa are a big improvement on Eto'o and Ba but Falcao is every bit as poor as Torres. The worrying thing is Costa's hamstring issues and Remy doesn't seem to be a favourite. Hopefully we don't see much of Falcao if it does go through.
July 3, 201511 yr 180,000 english pounds a week 4 million pound loan fee Cech out, Falcao in what a dreadful week for Chelsea !!! Mendes' cock firmly in Jose's mouth.
July 3, 201511 yr BBC Radamel Falcao: Chelsea agree loan for Monaco striker Chelsea have agreed a season-long loan deal with Monaco for striker Radamel Falcao. The 29-year-old Colombia international spent last season on loan at Manchester United, scoring four goals in 29 appearances. He links up with former Atletico Madrid team-mates Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa. Falcao said: "I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can't wait to start training." More to follow.
July 3, 201511 yr He seemed pretty desperate to join us, Just hope he somehow manages to find some of the form which led him to look like this: http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9865848/falcaos-best-la-liga-goals Edited July 3, 201511 yr by Luca Vialli
July 3, 201511 yr So long as he is firmly behind Remy and Costa then it should be ok. Agreed, I really hope he proves us wrong in the long run
July 3, 201511 yr Pretty pleased to be honest, assuming Remy stays this will be strongest set of strikers we've had in about 5 years. Confident he'll fit in well and do a job. Looking forward to seeing him in a Chelsea shirt.
July 3, 201511 yr So it's done. 3 years ago I'd be like f**king get in!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm like......*sigh*. It'd be silly to write him off before he has even played a single game for us, but judging on last seasons performance at United.... Anyways, welcome!
July 3, 201511 yr This could go either way or somewhere in the middle (well, obviously) but I'm fully behind him.
July 3, 201511 yr What a waste of money but hey ho it's not my money! I'm not overly optimistic about this signing but he'll get the same support everyone else F the club does! Good luck Falcao!
July 3, 201511 yr I really want to know why, it's definitely not based on his performances. I just hope he isn't 2nd choice in front of Remy like Drogba was.
July 3, 201511 yr He's here now so lets get right behind him. It's a new start for him and we should give him a chance before we judge him. Hope he does well.
July 3, 201511 yr I think we all hope he does well Sheva but many of us are worried he won't and that he'll get chance after chance with Remy sitting on the bench. I am praying that Remy gets more minutes and stays here for a few more years yet. However if he's not getting games I wouldn't be shocked to see him leave in Jan which could be a truly terrible move especially as South American's (even if playing well) tend to drop off after Christmas.

If Diego is fit and firing and Remy does not get any minutes. I don't mind, it just simply means hes not good enough. It's the same will Falcao. Though if Falcao is fit and firing and somehow gets his mojo back and gets ahead of Diego. Then I simply don't mind either, Jose will pick the right striker for the right moment.
