At what?

Distributing balls, making clever passes, keep the ball moving. He was really great at that and that's his task.

I think that was part of the reason we saw a relatively mature performance from Arsenal in the second half.

The guy has no urgency to his game. It was 0-0, he plays every game like Arsenal are already 3-0 up. If he was in Chelsea i would never be able to rely on him digging us out of a hole or winning us a crucial game in the last minute.

I didn't see any of that, he was completely on the periphery of the game, and was knocked of the ball embarrassingly easily. I honestly can't remember him adding anything to the game

Played a quarter of our season with 10 men so far and two out of three games away from home... 4 points, Chelsea in crises, Jose has lost the plot, Costa's hamstrings are shot and JT is finished.

Arsenal, two out of three games at home so far, failed to score in two of them, 4 points... No worries apparently.

Funny ol' game as they say.

Cech was brilliant and to deny it would be churlish.

Most keepers won't make two better saves over an entire season.

Gabriel at the back, he looks a player, fast, aggressive, timing, I like him.

If only they had a striker, never mind.

Liverpool were excellent first-half, Coutinho is some player, he's one of the best in the Prem.

Benteke looked good even if he missed a great chance.

Lots of youth and lots of pace, Rodgers deserves credit for being so bold.

The title's between us and City. City have the better squad but we have Jose and he'll start playing his mind games soon and Peligrini will self-combust.

So glad we don't have Ozil in our team, the definition of a luxury player. When Arsenal are already winning he'll find his groove and inevitably get an assist or two, but when the chips are down he's always the first player to disappear. Honestly can't think of ever seeing him score or do anything of any real note when Arsenal really need someone to lift them.

Apparently Rodgers just said that the decision on Ramsey was correct because his shirt was offside. He doesn't help himself does he!

Boring boring Chelsea.

Failed to score in five out of the last six Premier League home matches.

Oh no, wait that's not us, it's Arsenal... Still moral victories and all that.

Pretty much all their attacks went through him. Problem was he had next to no option on the ball, there was one moment where he was stood in the box waiting for someone to make a move and got nothing. He's never been a goalscorer so Arsenal are going to need to get a better striker or just improve their attacking movement.

Sometime I think some folk are watching a completely different sport to me.

Ozil was terrible tonight and has been for the majority of his Arsenal career.

He's powder puff

The only wrong with this post is that it didn't highlight whom CFC lost to vs whom AFC lost to.

Yep.

Chelsea lost to their toughest opponents they'll play this season, away from home.

Arsenal lost to West Ham at home.

I think Some try to pretend Hes played well to prove they know more about football than others, if you don't see how subtly he plays then you just don't understand football. That kind of crap.

Different expectations. We want to win the PL again while they are competing for the 4th place trophy.

Same old Arsenal. You can buy as many keepers as you want and proclaim they are the missing link, but if you are only mediocre to quite good in the final 3rd, you won't win the league.

Agree 100% on Ozil

I think he was joking to be fair

Here's an interesting one, what the England Starting XI would look like based on form (as measured by football statistics website Opta):

Anyone think this team could do as well as the actual England team?

no

At least most of the players in that team are used to having to defend for the majority of a game and exploit counter attacks, as opposed to midfielders and strikers from bigger clubs that are used to dominating possession, which never happens when England comes up against any half-decent international side.

That's one very quick back 4.
