Just read a story that Aston Villa first Xi played their own u-21side and lost 3-0. Ouch!

Bloody hell. That's bizzare. Logically the U21s should turn out for the next PL match. Nothing lost by trying, given Villa's situation.

Sone Aluko could score a 95th minute winner in the FA Cup replay for Hull, Leicester or Spurs could pip them to the title and Barca could thrash them 6-0 in the return leg and Wenger will still comfortably be in charge next year.  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

Hopefully.  I must own up to having a a rabid and intense dislike of Wenger. Always have and always will.

Arsenal are sh*t aren't they...hard to believe they have a sniff of winning the League...says a lot about the quality of the Premier League now, even if Leicester has been a great story because of its obvious decline

It's because everybody else tries to beat them at their own game. You can't beat Barcelona playing flashy football, they will always do it better than you, you gotta play a different style of football to them or you're always going to lose.

Don't think that's true as they lost to Celta Vigo who beat them at their own game. It can be done and probably would have been done by Arsenal if they could actually score.

Yeah it would actually be quite funny if Arsenal scored early on in the return game and somehow it stayed that way until at least half time.

Arsenal supporters all getting their hopes up then Barcelona score 5 in the second half.

I was actually surprised at how poor Barcelona were for some of that match. Poor for them is still better than most teams, but they weren't firing on all cylinders and Arsenal almost capitalised but once again the difference was the inconsistent striker.

When we played a similar game in 2012 at home, we were actually battered far more and showed a bit less ambition going forward than Arsenal did, but when we did have a chance it fell to Drogba and scoring in big games is what he did. Then at the back you have a far better defence to protect Cech.

That's why I can understand people like Claude being frustrated because it absolutely is the same story over and over again. Sure they've finally got a top class keeper (thanks uncle Roman) but they're still lacking that top-class striker who can be the difference in these matches. Also, when you've finally got a decent DM why take him off and if Elneny isn't good enough to replace Flamini why buy him?

For an hour they had it tactically right but the real seeds of this loss were sewn last summer. They do have a small club mentality as well and that's something we're in danger of developing too.

You know for how much we laugh at Claude and enjoy his reactions he speaks the truth every time about Arsenal

That's what makes it funny. It's so bad they can't even deny it. And everyone can see it but their club does nothing about it.

The reason is because of guys like this. I don't know if they've conditioned them to be like this guy and just accept being nearly-men or if it's just his nature but they will keep on doing the same thing because too many supporters are like him.

It's definitely tie over Barca on their own turf with a lead like that will be hell for Arsenal.

I saw Wengers post match comments he said something like if we kept it 0-0 then we keep a 0-0. No sh*t Sherlock!

That's a one a off game though and although Arsenal could have maybe got a win history shows playing them at their own game fails 99% of the time.

Just read that Wenger has already thrown the towel in and said Barca are "95% through".

They only need to score twice in the Nou Camp to take it to ET.

I guess they can't do what we did.

Of course they can't. No leaders in that team, no fighting spirit, a tactically clueless manager.
