So disappointing to see all clubs that were beaten by Chelsea last season are shining now and we are fighting to survive in the league. Hard times but we have to stay strong, come on Chelsea!

I'm not sure you're officially in a relegation battle just yet, Give it another 3/4 games to see if Hiddink can turn it around, If he hasn't then you can really start to panic but whatever happens at the end of the season, As long as you stay up, Last summers transfer window should be a lesson for Abrahamovich. None of all this buying Michael Hector and Papa Djibi and trying to stay in line with FFP nonsense, The people running FFP are frauds themselves, Just go get the players you want and need and pay whatever it takes, Don't make those parasites make you feel guilty for having money.

Yep I agree. Problem is Everton would probably want too much money for them.

Lukaku only has 18 months left on his contract, and I can't see him extending after everton blocked stones' move in the summer.

I'd imagine he will push for a move in the summer.

I didn't know about his contract length. I can imagine a bidding war for him though, not many good strikers around these days so I don't think we'll be the only ones in for him. (if we well even be in for him that is)

Leeds will be charged with misconduct if they ban Sky TV from broadcasting Tuesday night's Championship game against Derby (19:45 GMT).

The club has barred cameras from entering Elland Road in protest at the number of Leeds fixtures changed for television.

It is the ninth time a Leeds league match has been picked and owner Massimo Cellino feels it reduces attendances.

Football League officials are trying to resolve the situation.

"The League has been made aware that Sky personnel have been unable to access Elland Road as previously arranged," a Football League spokesman said in a statement.

"We have contacted Leeds United to remind the club of its obligations to our broadcast partner and to ask them for their observations."

It added that clubs must allow broadcast partners access to "Under Football League regulations, clubs are required to provide access to the League's broadcasting partners for the purpose of setting up and filming any matches that are selected for transmission.

"Failure to do so will lead to a club being charged with misconduct with the matter being referred to an independent Football Disciplinary Commission (FDC)."

Leeds, 14th in the Championship, have been contacted by the BBC but are yet to respond.

Second-placed Derby have already featured in eight live televised games this season, the same number as Leeds. Derby declined to comment.

Nottingham Forest have appeared in nine, the most for any Championship club, while Preston, Brentford, Charlton, Rotherham and MK Dons have featured in two each.

Cellino, the former owner of Italian side Cagliari, is waiting for an appeal date to contest a second Football League ban for breaching its Owners' and Directors' test following a tax evasion conviction in Italy.

He is in Miami, US, and will not be present at Elland Road on Tuesday and has left the enforcement of his ban with other staff.

In October, Cellino said he would limit ticket sales to Leeds' Championship away games in protest against the Football League's policy on televised matches - but backed down when the club's supporters opposed the plan.

Analysis

BBC Radio Leeds commentator Adam Pope

"Massimo Cellino feels the current deal strangles the club, the supporters and the players in their preparation, logistics and attendances. He is no stranger to challenging football's authorities and wants to negotiate TV rights individually, rather than as a collective unit.

"It is estimated that Championship clubs get around £100,000 when a home match is moved for television as compensation to cover for fewer fans going to the game. That amount works out at around 3,500 supporters paying an average of £30 a ticket. It will be interesting to see the attendance against Derby.

"The Football League has not revealed what the potential punishment could be if Sky are not able to televise the game, whether that be a fine or a points deduction."

"In Italy, Cellino moved Cagliari's home games, so it is not unusual for him to behave like this. Leeds are unbeaten in five games, yet Cellino has thrown a very public spanner in the works."

Had a look around the Everton board, fans have started turning on Martinez.

Most also seem resigned to the fact Lukaku is leaving this summer

he said he would like to come back to chelsea about a year ago, but dunno if he still feels the same. i suspect he will always have a place in his heart for chelsea, but we have to look forward now and not think about going back in for him for the price everton will want. shame, but what can we do.

any new news on pep? there's still uncertainty it seems surrounding his future and whether he's 100% decided on going to you guys. he probably will tbh as too much work to be done elsewhere (specifically at us and utd) but do you not feel pellegrini has been treated a bit unfairly?

Sky bet and Paddy power have taken the next Chelsea manager odds off the board, For a seasoned gambler like myself that usually happens when something interesting has happened, Will keep you fellas informed.

Interesting, very interesting. Mod has an animated popcorn thing.

The odds are back online, No odds changes at all, Brendan Rodgers is still firm favorite.

Just Brilliant.

He wants to play for a big club and its a fact Chelsea is his favorite. If we do go in for him in the summer Everton will have to be reasonable or risk losing him on a free after a year, something they didnt have to worry about with Stones.

40m-50m sounds about right and I for one have issue paying that fee. Aside from Galloway and maybe Barkley hes the only player Id want in their squad anyway.

Hopefully he ends up being free in 18 months, I reckon hed choose us over almost any club in Europe. If Drogba ends up as a coach Id like our chances even more seeing as hes Lukakus idol

Depressing thing about this game is that a defence as bad as citeh's have been able to keep Mahrez and Vardy pretty quiet compared to our miserable effort against them

mark hughes for chelsea? would of laughed at that one a few years ago, but today? he certainly seems to be improving

Fwiw, that makes more sense to me than Rodgers.

I haven't always been Hughes' biggest fan but he has substance and, having been given time, has made definite process at Stoke. I know there's a big gap between Stoke and the size of CFC but he would be worth considering and has less recent baggage than Rodgers.
