I can't believe that Liverpool are the betting favourites and Leicester are at odds of around 7/2. That's the definition of 'reputation' over form. £5 on Leicester, don't mind if I do :)

I don't know if any of you are watching the last few seconds of Liverpool - Leicester, but N'Golo Kanté just successfully diverted a four-on-one break without a goalkeeper.

Sign him up!!

mourinho won't go utd. too much work to be done. he might get the money in the summer, but they will be in a position similar to ours where they will struggle to sign any big name players. the name "mourinho" is slowly dying in regards to enticing players to a club.

When was the last time man Utd v chelsea was played between two woeful teams in crisis?

Probably 1973/74 . United got relegated and we weren't much better. They even beat us that year too at The Bridge.

Some Utd fans expect success AND stylish play. I like JM but he'd sometimes grind out results if he was at Utd and some fans wouldn't like that.

Utd fans seem to have trouble adjusting to their changed circumstances due perhaps to the length of time they were the dominant English team. I agree that a lot needs doing at Utd. No one manager is going to turn them around and, mocking Van Gaal to one side, he's not a bad coach. Any new coach will need time and some patience from the fans.

I find it interesting that even in their current plight the poll on Redcafe is still only running at 50% for Mourinho to be installed as their next manager. He would really have to hit the ground running to convince many that he was the right choice.

Optimistic me is disappointed that Everton pulled ahead of us with that last minute winner.

But then realist me looked at our next 2 fixtures (Utd and Palace away) and it's probably a good thing if it keeps us out the bottom 3. Christ, this season is depressing.

Anyone else hear jake humphreys there on BT sport? "Same old story for Chelsea, new manager couldn't beat Watford." Pretty speechless after I heard that, it's like something your mate would say to you when he's slagging you off. He's obviously not aware of the massive deflection that brought about Watford's second, and the fact that our penalty taker slipped. d**khead

I just don't get jake humphery's rise to prominence...a smug tosser if ever there was one...the kind that makes bitchy comments about players/managers one minute, but right up their arse when face to face

What....a.....goal. Surely that will win goal of the season.

Unbelievable goal.

That's the sort of hit that wins goal of the season easily. Mia-time that, at that angle and it goes out for a throw in such was his body position.

Just wow.

Martinas must try that all the time to even have the courage to attempt something like that in a match. It's a once in a lifetime goal. For those that missed it, check it out. BTW, le arse haven't won @ St. Mary's something like 12 years. I guess The Saints are the gooner's boogie side

To find yourself in that shape and position with an awkward ball coming towards you and pull off that strike. Just unreal.

Cech was absolutely nowhere near it.

I know the confidence to even think of pulling that off. Martinas must have thought, Oh WTF, let me try this. TBH that is how you score goals, try something the gk won't expect is coming towards the net.
