I don't know if any of you are watching the last few seconds of Liverpool - Leicester, but N'Golo Kanté just successfully diverted a four-on-one break without a goalkeeper.

Sign him up!!

Sorry to quote myself but I really have to bring this up again. Upon rewatching it I realised that Benteke was about fifteen yards offside when he received the pass as the keeper was forward.

To summarise: N'Golo Kanté just successfully diverted a four-on-one break without a goalkeeper with all four players offside, one of whom was 15 yards offside. And he didn't even give away a corner.

Sign him up, I don't care how much it costs. Leicester City are top of the league after 18 games and it is in no small part down to him.

I can't believe that Liverpool are the betting favourites and Leicester are at odds of around 7/2. That's the definition of 'reputation' over form. £5 on Leicester, don't mind if I do :)

That went well.

Just watched Match of the Day and it turns out it was Wes Morgan - sorry about that (I should really find videos/streams which don't resemble 16-bit quality).

I stand by both points though:

1) That was amazing

2) We should sign Kanté

I have heard a lot from United fans over the last few weeks and it just makes you realise how much they are up their own ass. "We should have this, we should have that, we are United, we should be at the top"

Could they be anymore entitled ? they should get over themselves.

Just a grumble about how TV scheduling always seems to work out well for Liverpool. Most clubs have a 2 day turn around to play again on Monday but Liverpool and Sunderland rest until Wednesday. .....grrrrr

Too true. They are all over 606 whining like spoiled so and so's. The ones on 606 tend to be sound young so they've grown up with permanent success but they need to get a grip.

My other bugbear about Utd is the media hyping up Giggs as a potential manager. What's he done?

There are definitely a few like that but I hope most of us aren't. We know how sh*te we are at the minute and that we have no right to be top of the league.

What we are angry about is the level of money the club has put in and the sheer sh*te we are being given every week on the pitch. A club our size and as rich as we are should be challenging for the title, just as yours should. This isn't a right, but an aspiration.

I think Leicester could be the best thing to happen to the league as it shows how poor and complacent the top English teams have become, as well as how good Leicester have become.

I sincerely apologize for being the bearer of bad news my Chelsea friends but Brendan Rodgers has just become 7/2 favorite to be the Chelsea manager for the opening game of the 2016/17 season, He was 14/1 last night.

All it means is some big money has gone on, not that they actually know anything

Exactly, There's no rumors about it in the papers which makes the big money seem even more interesting, I could understand if the guardian or the telegraph had some serious story about it but the timing of it is incredible, I checked those odds at around midday today and Simeone/Hiddink were joint favorite, Brendan was 6th on the list at 14/1.

Even 6th is too close for my liking.

Way too close. I would have thought his buying record at LFC would raise serious doubts about his judgment. Rodgers can manage but CFC is a bigger job than LFC in my view.

rather pellegrini than rodgers. i think rodgers is underrated, but pellegrini has proved himself more to be fair. slim pickings in regards to coaches for next season.

That is pretty worrying and usually comes from an inside source when a large amount is placed on a single bet as such. Dear god no.

It doesnt, the new manager market is so small any decent money put on a manager changes the odds quite dramatically at times.

Can you imagine the reaction from our supporter base if Rodgers was our next manager?

In saying that, you can never put it past our board (one consisting of a majority of incompetent people) to do something crazy. After all they appointed Benitez a few years back knowing full well that the supporters would respond with hostility and anger.

Liverpool only have 2 days and a bit before their next game though. And we have almost a week to recuperate.
