Having now seen it in full the incident, Gabriel got himself sent of....because that pillock Kosceilny went down like a sack of sh*t from a chest bump.

All the media attention on Diego though. Lol

I think we have no chance of changing COSTA as he needs to be that aggressive....Reminds me of the boxer manny paquiou (?)........Problem he has now that all refs in britain have seen yesterdays match and will be watching him too carefully...Problem WE have is that he will be sent of a handfull of times this season and probably at crucial times...Every player he plays against now will be told to wind him up...

Winding up Costa was part of their tactics and it backfired, the part where Costa flicked his boot towards Chamberlain was mentioned by everyone in the media as what was supposed to be his second yellow but everyone conveniently missed that Chamberlain kicked out at Costa first.

So even Chamberlain who is a nice guy got the memo to kick Costa, so much for football purism from Arsenal.

Also heard they were 'in' the game before the red or 'neck and neck', even 'dominating' from some of them. Err no we had the ball in their half for some 15, 20 minutes with no hope of them turning the momentum because we were playing better football, whether they chose to play football or play the dark arts they would have lost either way.

What is it with Arsenal fans claiming that they were dominating the game/possession prior to the sending-off, I'm hearing this everywhere I go. Deluded bar stewards...

Never mind the fact that that's the same bloody excuse they offer up every time we beat them, it still doesn't bear any truth (and especially so in this game).

I saw that mentioned by just about everyone on ArsenalFanTv which I found incredulous, although I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at anything on there.

Would very much like to see the first half match stats as to me it looked like we had totally bossed the entire half. We weren't quite at our best but it was certainly the best i'd seen us play so far this season, even before the sendings off.

Last season Sanchez punched Ivan, the media barely mentioned it, yet rip us apart over anything they can.

Also the season before Aguero's two footed stamp on David Luiz got nowhere near as much attention as Costa's antics yesterday.

How sweet it is...

Great match, great performance. Mourinho has to take credit for getting Ivanovic ( he had Sanchez in his pocket ), Fabregas and Costa back up to speed. Chelsea deserved this one and Arsenal lost it every which way culminating in losing two men, but we were the better team throughout. Wenger (of the warm handshake) does the predictable, trying to deflect from a bad performance by focusing on the reputation of Costa, just as Martinez did last season. Unfortunately they are going to be successful with that with the likelihood that Diego becomes a marked man. The only thing I didn't like from Diego yesterday was his waving of an imaginary yellow after a foul early in the match.

Did you see the outside photo of Mourinho on MOTD with an insane grin on his face? Are you watching Arsene?

And if course there's only one..........Victor Moses!

Ex-manu players are much more symphatetic towards Chelsea because they see the similarities between Jose and SAF. Arsenal-people are Arsenal-people. However didn't enjoy Costa's antics. I enjoyed him scoring against them last season.

Turns out yes, yes I could. Did not expect one from West Ham too though. lol.

Great result, always lovely to beat the Arsenal.

My birthday too today mate! Happy Birthday to you.

Love beating Arsenal! Feel like we're on our way back. I have to say I was very worried when I saw the team selection but to a man I thought we were very good. Credit to Ivanovic for responding so well after all the criticism which has rightfully been levelled at him. I thought Zouma was awesome, he's got some future ahead of him. Imagine a future CB pairing of Zouma and dare I say it, John Stones? Wow. Great to see Fabregas with another assist, if it was up to me I wouldn't have picked him haha!

Diego Costa - What a c*** but don't you just love him?

Well then Happy Birthday back to you Celery :)

Turned out to be a pretty darn good weekend so far.

Costa is our new Dennis Wise, maybe he should be the Captain once JT retires.

Costa is a c**t, but he is OUR c**t, right :-)

A belated congratulations to the birthday boys!

I'd just like to clear it up so it's 100% buried - Petr got a rapturous ovation from the MH when he ran towards the goal after the coin toss - you could tell he was visibly moved by the applause - beautiful moment.

So MOTD2 brought it up yet again, with Martin Keown acting like a c**t. Also made me laugh how he said he'd go tie to tie with Costa, not stand for anything. So basically he'd have done what Gabriel did. Still I don't think Martin Keown can dish out any lessons in morality can he?

Found it hilarious when he was trying to squeeze out of the question about whether Costa would improve Arsenal-Funny how he would like to go toe to toe with Costa. The guy would literally chew him up and spit him out.

Couldn`t even go toe to toe with a guy called NIGEL  :tank2:

I still don't get what that was all about with Van Nistleyroy, I think Gary Neville was spot on in his book when he said that team was arrogant. End of the day Vieria kicked out at him and was sent off, correct decision. Arsenal teams under Wenger have always been a bunch of pathetic losers.
