September 19, 201510 yr Great Win! So glad to be those f**kers! As for people moaning about Jose, get a f**king grip we win a big match like this and people want to bitch about whether or not he mentioned costa? Ffs some people can't be happy.
September 19, 201510 yr Good result, glad we finally got a clean sheet. Whilst Costa's antics ended up helping us, all it does it cover up the fact that most games he is very ineffective.
September 19, 201510 yr At least Sanchez didn't try to punch his way out of Ivan's pocket this time...
September 19, 201510 yr Stepping aside from the controversies, I have to say we looked much better than we've been since the start of the season. I felt we were on top of them throughout the game and probably would have gone on to win without the red cards. We looked much better in defense, midfield and attack, with improved performances from Brana, Fabregas, Hazard and Costa (first half). I feel Oscar is very important to this team and he brings so much cohesion and fluidity to our play - IMO our most important player right now. BT showed our next several fixtures - we could easily go on a bit of a run if we keep playing like that.
September 19, 201510 yr The media can moan about Costa but Arsenal again showed how naive they are. They just haven't learned. Costa wants to wide people up and the more they react, the more he likes it. He's a wide up merchant. The way to deal with him is like Kompany. Straight faced and no reaction. Great result. Well done Jose and the boys.
September 19, 201510 yr Nobody whinges like Wenger - "what Costa did was disgusting" "Mike Dean was naive" He needs reminded that no team in Premier League history has had more players sent off than Arsenal and he's been in charge of that since 1996. The Arsenal loving media are now starting a campaign to get Diego banned - how predictable.

Agreed so much about Oscar we seem to just be a less fluid without him, he works hard and helps set up a lot of plays. He seems to help out Cesc and others a lot when he's in there. Hope we can continue it next week up north and get some revenge for last year up there. Edited September 19, 201510 yr by IndianaBlue85
September 19, 201510 yr But according to slippy G he's feuding with Jose...... Haha dumb dipper CAPTAIN LEADER LEGEND Edited September 19, 201510 yr by IndianaBlue85
September 19, 201510 yr The only thing Mike Dean got wrong all afternoon was not giving Hazard a penalty in the first half.
September 19, 201510 yr i think what matic said a while back may well be true, They were struggling for fitness and were behind, hopefully they are up to speed for the foreseeable!
September 19, 201510 yr Not that it's ever going to happen, but Arsenal should actually be grateful to Mike Dean for deflecting from the fact that even before the first sending off, we were well on top, we were by far the better team, and when Hazard was dragged to the ground, we were denied as blatant a penalty shout as you're ever going to see, the second on Costa was nowhere as clear cut, but we've all seen them given. So poor old Arsenal, Wenger along with Gooners everywhere can huff and puff and fume away at Mike Dean for all they're worth. The simple fact is that didn't deserve a damned thing out of today's game.
September 19, 201510 yr The only thing Mike Dean got wrong all afternoon was not giving Hazard a penalty in the first half. and the costa one...2 blatant pens and he was well positioned!
September 19, 201510 yr Zouma is great - he already has that look of a player who is going to become a club legend. A new generation - v exciting. Feeling so much better after this week's games, a week's a long time in football....
September 19, 201510 yr Costa walked a fine line today so he'll be the eneny on the papers tomorrow which will suit Wenger and the arsenal fans reflects away from the fact arsenal played sh*t. Ozil and Sanchez are missing so long now it's time too call the police Edited September 19, 201510 yr by bluegraham
September 19, 201510 yr The only emotion iam feeling at the moment is one of totall releif... me happy :D KTBFFH...
September 19, 201510 yr Hopefully he got the reception he deserves. Still feel he should be here, still the world's best for me. LEGEND Big Pete.
September 19, 201510 yr Worse start to the season for like 20 years, most goals conceded, Arsenal come to the bridge and manage to lose 2 - Nil and get two men sent off. Never.Change.Gooners.Never.Change
September 19, 201510 yr Fancy us to get beat Newcastle now, I thought they'd be ok under Mclaren, but already struggling.
