not a tantrum thead and certainly not an oppostion fan, that i can swear on my daughters lives, i dont mind us losing what i care about is the way we are playing hells teeth if you are all happy about taking 5 million passes to move the the ball over to the halfway line then great, and i dont want us to play longball either. i know we cant brilliant all the time and every team goes through a bad spell but the way we are playing is neither here or there its just rubbish.

Calling for the manager's head is a bit far, but you're entitled to do so. However tell us what a new manager would bring to the team and what it is the team needs. Guardiola? He took the best team in the world and turned them in to Barcelona mk II even now they're scraping wins from what I've seen of them this season. Louis Van Gaal? Spent hundreds of millions and how many of them have been successful? Changing formation every week unhappy supporters until a player pops up with a moment of magic or so. Klopp? His team came 7th in a league many regard as a two horse race. His high tempo pressing counter attack game wouldn't suit quite a few of our players which would mean new signings and a lot of them. Considering our poor form at the minute would you be happy to go like this for another season or two in 'transition'. I wouldn't but I don't know about you. Ancelotti? He's been here and got the T shirt and after how things ended I don't think he'd want to return but 5/6 years is a long time in football.

no not at all, have been supporting the blues since the mid 70's everyone is entitled to an opinion ive just become sick and tired of it. you may be happy watching us play as bad as i can ever remember but im not something has gone seriously wrong over the summer. last weekend when we beat the bummers i thought we had turned a corner it wasnt great but at least we played the ball quicker and it was good to watch but lets face it watching chelsea play football over the last few months is like watching paint dry.

I think there's a fair amount of recycling, banned shedenders and banned visitors.

As much as Jose has to take some blame as he is the manager and he does make some decisions re team selection (mainly for me not giving Baba/RLC there overdue starts in the PL) that I don't agree with or don't like. The players have to take all of/most of the blame. Some of them really need to have a good look at themselves and the salaries that they are on and see if they really think performing like that is acceptable. You can tell by the look on Jose's face that he can't quite believe what is happening.

Okay, so this season has been pretty poor, but compared to when we actually were sh1t in the late 70s & early 80's, visiting places like Cambridge, Rotherham, Grimsby etc ?????

Seems players are relaxing in basis of last season and need a spark. Jose needs to stop selecting his favourites and give a chance to the occasional younger player, but unfortunately he always goes with experienced ones.

I agree with you to an extent esp' the back in the day stuff but...

 

I think we are in danger of cutting the team (players and manager) too much slack.

 

These guys are at the very pinnacle of their profession and amongst the highest earning employees on the planet.  With salaries, bonuses, image rights, slices of transfer fees and sponsership deals these youngsters are on what £5-20m pa. 

 

Average man in UK earns £1m in their lifetime.

 

For the money they earn they should pull their tripe out every single match - not just fade in and fade out across the season.  And if they can't perform (injuries notwithstanding) at the highest level for the majority of time that they play then how the hell can they truly be worth that much?

 

I'm just not sure anymore that clubs are demanding enough - as long as more money piles in through the front door than goes out the back then (occasional managerial casualty notwithstanding) all is hunky dory in the world.

 

After yesterday someone should've nailed the majority of those who played (and Jose) arses to the wall.

4-5 months ago we were crowned champions, people forget easily.

 

Winning the title back to back is very hard, a good run in the CL and a 1-4 finish is what I had expected this season.

 

Dreadful at the moment but things will turn around.
