Solid, solid game. Best performance this season bar Arsenal.

Better game for many players today. Fell off the wayside a little bit in the second half but overall much solid. I'm much positive from this performance than I was two weeks ago. 

 

Two successive clean sheets without Ivanovic. Coincidence?

Not bad overall. Main issue is clearly the fact we don't counter the same way any more

The tactics changed in the second half, lump it up to nobody from defence, wait for it to come back to us, rinse and repeat.

Deserved a win, a point will do, there were positives, I think we'll defintley beat them at the bridge. Ref also cost us today.

Ignore the result, that was much better than anything else we've played this season. Looked like we had a purpose and cohesive strategy.

 

On another note, whoever thought Robbie Savage could add valuable insight to European football can piss off.

Hmmm genuinely thought we had a pretty good game actually. Better than Saturday I'd have said. Poor finishing but we had several clear cut chances which is more than we've created lately with the majority of our goals coming from set-pieces or defensive mistakes.

More confidence, more passing.  Still not enough but certainly one of our better ones this season.   We'd destroy this team any other time...sigh.

We created more chances and we look brighter, I think we'll do them.

I thought we deserved to win that.

We have improved, but have also had a bit of bad luck and yet another denied pen. All in all this will do for now.

Agree. Evissy must be one of the most pessimistic posters I have ever seen  on this forum.

Maybe a draw here is positive for Jose, but I can't find anything good here. I know that Dynamo Kiev is a good team, especially at home but at the moment we're in a very poor form and every win gives us more morale, more motivation, more confidence and especially against teams like Dynamo Kiev. This result hasn't upgraded us, I can't see us improving our form for the next game after this game.

 

Our defence did well, included Ramires and Matic. But our attacking players weren't good, maybe Willian tried to do something but this is not enough for us to come back to our good form in my opinion.

 

Anyways, Jose must have his plan, so I'm just waiting. COME ON CHELS!

Another poor performance. It looks like Mourinho's tactics have been completely found out. After the first 25 minutes, we just played awful. We can't pass, we can't create, the first touch is dodgy, we can't find space, we don't shoot, we don't move well, we just don't have anything to offer going forward these days. We have barely created any chances all season, it's a serious worry. You can't win games if you don't create chances.

 

I'm starting to think Mourinho thinks too much about the defensive side of the game, he needs to start thinking attacking because we just look so poor on the ball. We won't achieve anything if we keep playing this style all season.
