Chelsea V Sunderland (PL) 19/12/15 KO: 15:00 BST

Good first half from us, our attacking play has been much much better, that is why we are scoring today.

We may as well approach the rest of the season in the same way. There is no reason to play cautious football anymore, there is nothing for us to protect, if we just go out playing attacking football then we will win more than we lose.

Blimey, it's actually a good match to watch. I prefer today's Chelsea FC over that of the last few months, whoever is our manager. Ultimately, what counts is what's happening on the pitch. It's against one of the few teams that so far have been worse than us, but still :-)

it's the Eddie Newton effect nothing more !

well it was either gonna be more tripe & the player power

theory dismissed

Or what we got. Back to expected level of play Albeit vs a Shyte team (that have in recent seasons caused CFC bother) so player power rules ok then ?

Still 45 but unlike the last 3 months more likely Chelsea score the next one or two.

Jose who? ;)

It's obvious Oscar was not on JM's side

Under Mourinho, Oscar was still trying his hardest. He worked his ass off with the tracking back game Mourinho likes to see of all of his players. The problem is, when Oscar plays that way, his attcking play suffers greatly.

Someone mentioned the fear of making misakes in front of Jose and i am one with that. Especially on players like Oscar,Pedro etc. and probaly Hazard too.
But one thing haven´t changed. Costa! Pls sub him off.

We've been ok, but how much of that is down to Sunderland being absolute pants ? The worst first half from a visitor this season possibly ?

Seems to be more of a 4-3-3, which means we're seeing Pedro and Willian in the box more.

Much more movement from all our players, they look like they actually want the ball. Haven't seen Willian, Oscar or Pedro stand with the ball for 5 seconds trying to decide what to do yet, which is good.

However, it just raises all the questions of why couldn't they do anything even close to this with Jose in charge.

Exactly. We just need to continue to develop our attacking play under Hiddink. No reason to be giving the oposition the ball and play counter attacking like we did under Mourinho, the other teams have figured that out and adapted.

All of the players have been playing better than they have been all season -- apart from Costa, who's still playing sh*t.

That's one who wasn't in mutiny against Jose!
