March 13, 201610 yr if they don't need the 3 points yes Baba in goal, jt on the left wing, Mikel up front. Am sure the foxes can win for sure then lol
March 13, 201610 yr well we did beat arsenal twice once again , i think they would be first in the league table if we lost both games against them
March 13, 201610 yr With 9 games to go and nothing to play for ( screw the Europa spot), we may just play a few youngsters. Traore, Kennedy etc may just prove their value in the next 9 games.
March 13, 201610 yr got a horrible feeling that nobody is going to be laughing at arsenal come seasons end I'll always laugh at Arsenal and their pathetic supporters.
March 14, 201610 yr I'll always laugh at Arsenal and their pathetic supporters. Arsenal is the joke that never ends. Finally get a chance to win the Premier League, and maybe even do the Double. And they lose to Watford in the Cup and lose to a terrible Man Utd in the league! The punchline never fails to amuse me Edited March 14, 201610 yr by Coxy15
March 14, 201610 yr As sh*t as this season has been, it's still infinitely preferable to the 11 years of mediocrity that Arsenal have offered under Wenger. This year's title race is proof enough that finances and restrictions on spending can no longer be used as an excuse for failure. The most pathetic thing about Arsenal fans is they'd happily cop another increase in ticket prices just to see a star player. Absolute mugs who get milked for every pound by their owners.
March 14, 201610 yr It's not all doom and gloom..................... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Defeat Spuds and end their title dreams on May 2nd. Beat Le Arse in the FA cup at Wembley and stop their hat-trick of FA cup final wins. Hand over the PL trophy to another Blue club in Leicester on the final day. Hazard to stay and return to his old scintillating form. Hazard to be sold for £100m+ New manager inbound. New marquee players inbound. New stadium on order. New season 2016-2017 can concentrate on domestic matters alone. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please feel free to add your won. I think you have covered it well!

I agree, A friend of a friend posting on facebook summed it up "Admittedly the Chelse have been poor but it could be worse, you could be an Arse fan and watch a spineless team just bottle it again year after year #w@nkers" Edited March 14, 201610 yr by Beerqueen
March 14, 201610 yr Now we've got the cup competitions out of the way we can focus on the league for the rest of the season - if we focus we could possible finish 8th!
March 14, 201610 yr I will be watching the next 9 games without the stress of worrying about the results, that's a plus! Hopefully the players will be playing with a lot more freedom now, and rediscover their form. Pato will get a chance to kick a ball.
March 15, 201610 yr One of the reasons to add some cheer was that once we reached the dizzy heights of 15th place I knew we could escape relegation...the pressure was off the supporters at that stage....everything else was a bonus and there was an air of relaxation throughout....we knew we were sh*te, everyone excepted it with a smile. and the forum has been relatively calm throughout the season TBH.
March 15, 201610 yr I want Chelsea to win every game, have done for donkeys years. Mind you in our last League game of the season I wouldn't (possibly for the first time ever) be gutted if we didn't win and this meant Leicester City were Champions and the reaction of the Spuds and Arsenal fans. I am like every other Blues supporter very disappointed the way our season has gone. It might just be 'the wake up call' our great club needs. Blue is the colour...
March 15, 201610 yr I remember being pleased back in the 1982/83 that we escaped relegation to Division 3 ! I know we have had a bad season, but I'm old enough to remember it being a lot worse at Chelsea.
March 15, 201610 yr We are not desperate for a trophy and we are fortunate that in the last 5 years our club have won everything. We have established ourselves as a massive name in world football. We have recently signed a huge sponsorship deal and the plans for our new stadium proves our club still have the ambition to move forward. Without the champions league we will not be an attraction for the biggest names like Pogba, Cavani and Neymar ect, but if the club is clever this is now the perfect opportunity to rebuild and unearth some real talented players who otherwise wouldn’t get the opportunities at Barca, Real, Bayern and PSG. We will also have the opportunity to sell all the underperforming and so called world class players we have and these players still have a high value in the current market. If Conte does come in hopefully he creates a world class defence like we and the Italians are both renowned for. If we make the Europa league, those long distant trips to countries we have never heard of may not be glamourous but as our team from the mid to late 90’s proved these games are brilliant for building team spirit and building the foundations of a new team. We will be ok chin up, but let’s get rid of the sh*t first. Not naming any names we all know who they are.

March 19, 201610 yr "Yes, yes, dear, dear Perhaps next yearOr maybe even nowIn which case".........Cesc next chelsea captain......
March 21, 201610 yr Just denied West Ham a shout at top 4, that's reason to be cheerful. I just wish the likes of Keenedy/Traore/RLC etc getting more opportunities in the next 8 games, far more fun the watching the hapless Oscar, Remy etc.

Then we would focus everything on the league, like Liverpool did in 13/14. Hopefully we won't slip. With the right signings, we should walk it.

With the right signings, we should walk it. I admire your confidence, but I think it will be a lot harder than that, in fact we shouldn't be aiming for anything above third or fourth spot next season, anything more is a bonus considering how this season went.
March 21, 201610 yr I admire your confidence, but I think it will be a lot harder than that, in fact we shouldn't be aiming for anything above third or fourth spot next season, anything more is a bonus considering how this season went. didn't leicester, despite little investment too, made a huge leap from relegation fodder into genuine title contender in the space of just 1 season? nothing to be admired more, we're still chelsea, we got every reason to be aiming for the top prize..
March 21, 201610 yr Late seventies and early eighties were awful. Since 97 we have been spoilt. This season is a blip, we will be back. We just need to plan a little more long term this time. A manager we will stick with would be a start, then a long term backbone, ie chec, Jt,ash, frank, didier. Keep the faith but dont expect instant sucess.
March 28, 201610 yr Summer, Buddy Holly, the working folly Good golly, Miss Molly and boats OI!! What happened to "Why don't you get back into bed?" x several?
