December 18, 201510 yr "Pep Guardiola has been sounded out about becoming Chelsea’s permanent boss next summer, but is understood to have told the club they need 10 new players." Not Pep unless Emenalo acknowledges the squad arent very good and need new signings. 10 sounds about right. Hazard, Oscar, Cesc, Matic, Bran, Costa, Falcao can all go for one reason or another Edited December 18, 201510 yr by TheChelseaBlues
December 18, 201510 yr f**king, pissing, sh*tting, bollocks, f**k, arsehole, bollocks, f**k, sh*t, w**king, sh*tting, bollocks, f**king awful sh*tting, awful, lamentable f**king arsehole of a crappy decision. What happened to long-term strategy? This has proved all the bollocks about having a long-term plan was never serious. I stupidly fell for it and didn't think we'd sack Jose.
December 18, 201510 yr Frankly I have lost all interest in watching Chelsea this season. I will still root for them to win but doubt a defeat will affect me as much as it has been this season. Thanks for taking the soul out of me Chelsea. Edited December 18, 201510 yr by RomansRoubles
December 18, 201510 yr I can take rough but 16 points after 16 games is a joke. Pep saying we neeD 10 players reveals the damage jose player sales such as mata lukaku and kdb have caused
December 18, 201510 yr Pep demands ten new signings. Jose gets a couple of last transfer-days signings when he demanded a tune up in central positions after the title.... This team is woefully unbalanced, and Jose saw that, and wanted a change. Our defenders cant for the life of them have a high line, and our attackers dont want a low block..
December 18, 201510 yr I can take rough but 16 points after 16 games is a joke. Pep saying we neeD 10 players reveals the damage jose player sales such as mata lukaku and kdb have caused This was a result of players not being patient because of WC, and a striker who felt he should be prioritized over a proven striker in Costa. At the same time we tried to stay in line with the motto of selling a player and buying a player. While everyone else is spending money like drunken sailors.
December 18, 201510 yr To me anyone who says "Chelsea cannot have a better manager than me" rather than "Chelsea has not had a better manager than me" is off his rocker and needs to be shifted out as soon as possible. Shame the decision came too late for us to make it back up to a top four place. You understand English is not his first language right?
December 18, 201510 yr Thank you for everything Jose! The greatest manager that this proud club has ever seen and should have been treated with far more respect, grace and dignity! After everything he achieved last season it just astonishes me that this happened and I don't think I'll ever get my head around it but if there was ever anybody who could get us out of this mess it would have been Jose. Words cannot describe how I'm feeling but I feel a sense of overwhelming sadness. I'll let the images below do the talking as to why you're the greatest manager that this club has ever seen. Jose's appointment in 2004 Winning the 2005 League Cup Final against Liverpool. Winning the long-awaited title after 50 years! Back-to-back titles in 2006. More League Cup success this time against Arsenal in 2007. FA Cup success in 2007 against Manchester United. Jose's long-awaited return in 2013. Jose's greatest victory in 2013-2014 against Liverpool effectively ending their title hopes at Anfield. Third League Cup win for Jose this time against Tottenham. Three titles for Jose! Gone, but never forgotten! Edited December 18, 201510 yr by Jezz
December 18, 201510 yr I notice how cesc and Costa are getting blamed but nothing is being shouldered on the captain. Why? He's been garbage this season and is just as much to blame as the rest.
December 18, 201510 yr "Pep Guardiola has been sounded out about becoming Chelsea’s permanent boss next summer, but is understood to have told the club they need 10 new players." But Michael Emenalo said this squad just walked the Premier League playing exciting football. I hope he told Pep he doesn't know what he's talking about.
December 18, 201510 yr Im absolutely disgusted by this decision. I think I will be boycotting Chelsea this season. I know some of my Cheksea friends are boycotting Chelsea to the end of the season. Bye
December 18, 201510 yr Bye We should stick by the team, regardless of how we feel about this decision, when we went down twice in the eighties and nearly ended up in division 3 at one point, which could have ended the club, fans stood by the team. This is a sad situation, but it pales in comparison. Edited December 18, 201510 yr by Floyd25
December 18, 201510 yr Seeing the picture of Jose covering his face with a hoodie in the passenger seat of the car which is very likely to be his last time at Chelsea headquarters will be etched into my mind forever. It wasn't supposed to end like this for such a legendary figure and could the club not have done the decent thing and made his exit more dignified! That will haunt me forever knowing he'll never return ever again. Edited December 18, 201510 yr by Jezz

It wasn't supposed to end like this for such a legendary figure and could the club not have done the decent thing and made his exit more dignified! Other top managers are watching this and I'm sure they will be hesitant to join Chelsea if opirtunity arrives.
December 18, 201510 yr Disgraceful decision but at least we could see it coming this time. Credit to those board members who fought to keep him in his job this long. Shame the majority of the board and the playing squad didnt have the same loyalty and balls as them. Loyalty... One of Mourinho's key qualities that is conspicuous by it's absence in this group of players. Mourinho made himself look stupid early in the season by defending the indefensible and taking all the blame for defeats instead of the players. How do they repay him? By not giving a f**k and getting him the sack. We're currently the Premier League Champions. The players have proven this season that they dont know the meaning of the word 'Champion', much less how tobehave and perform like one. Costa came back overweight, that's not what a Champion does. Hazard has shown none of his talent from last season. Not like a Champion.Even JT, a true Champion, has been lacking in his most outstanding quality - leadership.Champions are the ones who will fight for every ball, run every hard yard, galvanise those around them, lead by example and regardless of the situation they are in they will work their nuts off to be successful. These players are not Champions. They are cowards. No matter how badly Lampard, Drogba, Cech etc played we knew for a fact that they were giving 100% and trying to improve. I dont see Costa working hard to improve, nor Hazard nor Fabregas nor Matic... And once again the board have bottled it by deciding to back these mercenaries instead of the 1 guy that we KNEW was giving his all and feeling the pain of every defeat. The 1 guy that acted like a CHAMPION through all this was Mourinho, and he paid the price for it. The club needs to grow up.
December 18, 201510 yr Thank you Jose for all that you have done, but it was time to move on. This club is bigger than one man, special or not. The fact that we are so close to relegation and not showing much signs of improving, shows that we needed to change things up. I personally think that the change should have been made earlier this season while we still had the potential for Top 4, but now we are just trying to stop the bleeding. I am really hoping Diego Simeone comes in next season. I love his energy and I think he would be a good fit for this club.
December 18, 201510 yr Disappointed with the way it has all come out but this was the only real option the club had now, this season has just been awful and there have been absolutely no signs that things were going to change. Hope and pray now that it's Hiddink taking over.

But our players dont have any heart, why would they fight for Simeone when they didnt bother for Jose? Players are a huge problem
December 18, 201510 yr Firstly, no I don't agree with this decision to get rid of Mourinho, this is my lowest point as a Chelsea fan, I feel cheated particularly by the players, it is not acceptable but I feel Jose felt too powerful this season and let his ego get the better of him losing the players in the process. Just think, every single person here before u go blaming Abramovich, the only poor decision he made in regards to managers was sacking Jose the first time and that was mainly because it was his first manager in my opinion. Grant- Supervisor Scolari- Disaster, like running a playground Hiddink- Top class, honours contracts, no choice Ancellotti- we werent even close to the team we were when we won the league the year after- debatable, players loved him, possibly too much AVB- Player power, cant play JT in a high line, showed inexperience Di Matteo- First sign of Abramovich weakness, knew he wasnt good enough for the job but gave him 2 year contract, shoulda been ruthless here despite CL win Benitez- pretty good appointment albeit hes a d**khead

December 18, 201510 yr this guy @ roman should leave the club talk about melodramatic and f**king ungrateful to go along with it. This guy took the words right out of my mouth!
