December 18, 201510 yr Doesn't seem to tie up with the pictures of players arriving at training this morning, but hey, if Sky Sources understand....Any pictures of it? Not doubting you, just interested to see it.
December 18, 201510 yr Make them premier league champions and this is how they repay him. How long can they give him realistically when the situation is how it is right now. 2 months ago after Southampton they told him things needed to improve, yet we are still in the same position.
December 18, 201510 yr Lots of rumours flying around about Mourinho joining United if Van Gaal fails the Xmas period, which is looking likely. If Van Gaal secures top 3 he will still be let go in May to replaced by Jose who will be given a £150 million transfer kitty. Fergie has chatted at length with Mourinho this morning (apparently) and he would jump at the chance to manage Man Utd. I am not on a wind up and respect your forum - just repeating what a source very close to the club told me about 10 minutes ago. How's that a wind up? if he goes there then he goes there.. it's just another news, hardly anyone would be feeling bitter.. we all know he'd bounce back for... 2 seasons..

Am I the only one doubting that a big club will try and appoint Mourinho? Although obviously capable of winning trophies, he comes with a scorched earth reputation. He's left most clubs in acrimonious circumstances, in our case not once but twice, in the middle of a season. He's disliked by most sets of supporters. I fear the weighing up of the pros and cons may not end up in his favour. Edited December 18, 201510 yr by Valerie

Valid point but then when a club is desperate for success, they tend to ignore everything and go all out for that success, even though it's short term.. I'm not doubting he could/would get the mu job but I do doubt he could stay there long term.. Having said that, his next stop would likely be PSG..
December 18, 201510 yr United missed out on him once. I fear they wont want to miss the chance again. Perhaps a pre-contract. United give him six months break while they chase down the players he wants. Then he takes over at the end of the season.
December 18, 201510 yr Sad thing is that I feel Jose did really deliver on his promises - particularly around playing attacking football and intergrating youth. I bet RLC is secretly pleased that Jose is gone. Interesting that the rumours say that Drogba also feels that Jose didnt come through on his promises.
December 18, 201510 yr Perhaps a pre-contract. United give him six months break while they chase down the players he wants. Then he takes over at the end of the season. Surely Guardiola will want to see out the season? Bayern could well run the table in the Champions League, they've been fantastic. I have an odd feeling he will end up at Man Utd. Van Gaal has already spent two years implementing all the boring parts of the Barca philosophy, he's got a decent number of players Guardiola can use effectively (including future centre back Michael Carrick); all that's left is for Pep to bring his crazy innovations to the table. If José has any sense he'll go abroad, safely away from the English traditions of a philistine press, talentless players and Newcastle away in horrible weather.
December 18, 201510 yr How's that a wind up? if he goes there then he goes there.. it's just another news, hardly anyone would be feeling bitter.. we all know he'd bounce back for... 2 seasons.. Your ignorance is always a bright point in my day. Clearly all the singing of Mourinho's name, match in and match out this season, was quickly followed by a quiet but firm cry of "fire him please"..... You can be assure that if Mourinho goes to MUFC and picks up the BPL title (a good bet if he does) that many Chelsea fans will be quite unhappy about it, knowing it could of been replicated here with more patience.

Ferguson's and United's great success was that they continually refreshed and updated the squad that's why they had such a long period of success. until Roman understands that we will go from boom to bust
December 18, 201510 yr Fergie also was great at letting his best talents leave at the right time for the right price. Bar pogba that is. Becks, stam, rvn, ronaldo etc. All big bucks and United kept progressing.

I'll be feeling bitter when that happens because chelsea doesn't win but not feeling bitter at the part that jose is the manager that win them the title.. Well, this is too hypothetical, why don't we wait till that happens before we start worry about it?
December 18, 201510 yr lol, even though I hate to admit it but MUFC is one of the biggest club in the world..No sh*t Sherlock.

The couple of bad apples theory seems to make sense, just a shame we couldn't get rid of them rather than José, and I firmly believe we're going to regret that....

He's left most clubs in acrimonious circumstances, in our case not once but twice, in the middle of a season. He's disliked by most sets of supporters. I fear the weighing up of the pros and cons may not end up in his favour. Extremely unlikely City would hire a manager like him as he doesn't fit their philosophy, so we can rule them out. United is the only team in the premier league that's a strong candidate seeing as Sir Alex wanted Jose to take over when he retired. For me, I think he will end up either PSG, Monaco or Valencia. PSG depends on how Blanc does, if he gets the CL they so desperately want they will stick with him. If not, they will get Jose in either at the end of the season or at the start of next. Monaco would be an interesting project and would suit Jose perfectly, they have the financial power just need a manager like Jose to make the most of it. Valencia is just one I picked out of the air as a destination I would like to see happen, very unlikely though.
December 18, 201510 yr A source who has inside knowledge of the situation has confirmed Fabregas and Hazard were leading the charge for Mourinho to be fired. [NBC] Fabregas was the main opponent to Mourinho as the midfielder had complained to #Chelsea’s hierarchy about Mourinho and his antics. [NBC] The fact that two of the highest earners were leading calls for Mourinho to be fired would have hit home to the owner and directors. [NBC] On Mourinho’s final day at #Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas launched into a late tackle on the training ground which caused an all-out brawl. [NBC]

Worrying that Zouma is still driving a left-hand drive car - does he not plan on staying long?

[NBC] the veracity of this is hard to establish but I wouldn't be unhappy if Fabregas, Hazard and Costa left us next month; in RLC, Kenedy and Remy we've got 3 players who could do a good enough job to get us through and who may excel given the chance
December 18, 201510 yr Not going to happen. What would be the point of sacking Mourinho now if we were going to get rid of the players against him anyway.
